We decided to go back to this hotel for the second time and it was all worth it! We really felt like home, cuddled and so welcomed from all the staff. Ubud Valley is the perfect place if you want to relax and be far from the crowd of Ubud centre. Everything is just perfect, from the complimentary welcome drink to all the services. The spa massages are very high quality ones, the restaurant offers many delicious alternatives. They took care of our dietary restrictions from the very beginning (vegan) and they made sure we were satisfied with what we got. They also prepared us a very nice afternoon tea. The pool is so relaxing as there are usually not so many people at the same time (tourists normally take some time also to visit Ubud city and the surroundings). They organize many different kind of tours but it’s really the case to take some time and enjoy the atmosphere of the resort. You are immersed in nature and the rooms are so cozy, very well Balinese-style-designed, and equipped with all that you could need. If you can, take time to take part to the activity where you learn to make Canang Sari and attend a free Hatha yoga lesson in the morning. Do not hesitate if you are looking for a really relaxing place.

Excellent stay , the staff were so kind, friendly and willing to help. The location is a little out of the way but this adds to the beauty of the holiday. The shuttle makes it easy to visit town. We ate all 3 nights at the restaurant and felt no need to venture otherwise as the quality and value of the food is outstanding. As an added bonus, ask the staff how to get to the waterfalls next door, you can walk down to the river and see multiple falls, we did this at different times of the day and were the only ones enjoying the water. Take some small change to donate to the village.... I would stay again and highly recommend

2nd time in 18 months, not disappointed. The weather was terrible (pouring rain several times daily, in the dry season) but the facility still felt deliciously exotic, the staff was very nice, the food was good and reasonably priced for that level of accommodation.. I would go again.

The road leading to the resort could use some improvement, it wasn’t the smoothest drive we’ve had. We also found the early morning noise a bit disruptive, with frequent rooster calls and what seemed to be a nearby temple prayer. Additionally, the music played during breakfast at the restaurant was quite repetitive, which became a little irritating over time. On a positive note, the dinner music created a lovely atmosphere and was a real highlight.

We stayed in Room 101, which was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The infinity pool looked inviting and well-maintained, although we didn’t get a chance to use it during our stay. The staff were polite, welcoming, and always ready to assist. While the food was on the pricier side, the quality was good and met our expectations.

What a wonderful place this is. I went for work - I had an online workshop in Australia and chose to fly to Bali due to the extreme time difference. I had deliberately spent time trying to find the best place to stay - I knew I wanted a calm, relative quiet, peaceful and good food place. I knew I wouldn't be able to go out for lunch so I needed to know that food would be varied and good. The resort was wonderful - the staff the kindest people you could ask for, they helped in any way I needed it and looked after me so well. The only thing I was not able to research and find answers to from booking.com was about the wifi so I wrote to the resort and they right away reassured me they would do everything and anything if there was a problem - I am so happy to say that there was absolutely NO problem at any point - 4 long days online and everything went smoothly! I loved the place - only thing I have to say is that if you use the pool please be aware that what looks like a strip painted on the ground is actually a wall - which is there to provide safety between the depts of the pool. Unfortunately I didn't see it as it is easily overlooked and blends in so I hurt myself badly the very first day. This is clearly just my own fault and no fault of the hotel - I just want to mention it as I am devasted I was not able to use the amazing pool for the rest of my week stay. Wonderful place - absolutely wonderful!

The location is quite remote, so it may not suit those who plan to go out every day. However, it’s perfect for a retreat or a peaceful escape from the busy parts of Bali. One small note: while the afternoon tea was unique and beautifully presented, it wasn’t my personal favorite.

This was one of the most memorable and relaxing stays I had in Bali. The service was excellent, the place was exceptionally clean, and the atmosphere was unique and peaceful. Breakfast was served à la carte with a rich and varied menu — every dish was incredibly delicious and professionally presented. The view was stunning, and the welcome drink (a refreshing blend of ginger and lemongrass) was a perfect start. I spent most of my time at the hotel during the last days of my trip, and it was exactly what I needed to unwind. They also offered daily activities, and one evening we enjoyed a special dinner with traditional Balinese performances – a beautiful cultural experience. The staff were amazing – always smiling, warm, and welcoming, which made the place feel like a real home where we felt completely safe and comfortable.

Bit of a distance from Ubud town centre. Takes about 20-30 minute drive depending on traffic. The form for the laundry service wasn't 100% clear.

Gardening work should rather be done with manual or electric tools, not thermal engine powered tools that are noisy and can disturb the guests.

Everything is amazing ! Its location is purely a dream! Located away from the craziness of Ubud town, it’s so calm and beautiful. The staff are beyond perfect in every way. Caring. Funny. Professional. They remember everything about each guest. We had 11 people in 7 rooms and they recalled all our preferences after one day. Rooms are comfortable. Spacious. Huge beds. Our room was a 2 bedroom with a pool - truly a dream destination in Ubud. Also the food was incredible and the Balinese evening of music dance and food was perfect

Only downside was just the building noise from the room next door which were messaged to apologise for. It was no big deal we were very much able to zone out from it but that would be our only negative! We understand things have to be done!

A tranquil peaceful stay for me and my friend. We were very pleased to come here and enjoy some peace and quiet after the hustle and bustle of Seminyak. Our room was beautiful & spacious & the infinity pool was incredible. The staff here were so friendly and attentive. We appreciated the room service with good food and good prices. We enjoyed our evening at the Balinese BBQ & we both apologise for not getting up and dancing as we received a work call at that exact moment and time and both felt bad for not participating! It was good to learn more about the culture and watch the Balinese dancers! Thank for you a brilliant stay, we would definitely return here!

Nice pool. Beautiful views. I love that breakfast was until 11 to give me plenty of time for leisure in the morning. Friendly staff. Prompt service. I loved the special dinner with dancers. The staff were so accommodating of my vegan diet and made sure I had plenty to eat!
