How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

-NO Netflix, very old TV isn’t a smart tv. Don’t be fooled -Shower head was old and hardly working, other shower head had no stand to put it on. -NO SOAP or shampoo. (Empty bottles) -Half a toilet roll provided that’s it -Toilet Roll holder hanging off wall -Pool is dirty and not inviting -This place isn’t maintained well at all. -This place is very run down and old better places to stay.

Verified reviewThe room was the best I have had in Indonesia. Yes the price is a little high but it was definitely worth staying here. It's a quiet part of kuta and on a busy road . I was in a back room and had no problems with traffic whatsoever. The roads around it are full of fantastic cheap tasty warungs and stalls that sell the best food I have tasted. If you want good quality t-shirts go to this little shop around the corner. No haggling just cheap prices and a very nice owner. Kopi Lewak for ten bucks, opposite the hotel! (Room fotos on the site speak for themselves)
It's not on the beach haha but it's not priced at a beach side resort now is it? ;)

Verified reviewThe hotel itself looked quite lovely and well maintained with a very nice looking pool.
So, I booked the hotel on the understanding that a free airport shuttle was available to guests as per what was very clearly written under "facilities " ( free) shuttle... of their Booking.com page. When I arrived to check in ( had) already paid in advance, and tried to book my shuttle to the hotel, I was told by the person on the front desk that this service was not available. I opened up the Booking.com page which showed clearly that this was a service advertised by the hotel. The staff member took a screen shot of the page and phoned their manager. I waited in the lobby for an answer. The staff member came back to me after a little while to inform me that the manager had said there is no free shuttle service...end of story. No apologies, nothing. In disgust, I left the hotel and found a much more pleasant place to stay where what they advertised was accurate. Yes, the cost to get to the airport would not have been so much, but on principle, chose not to bother checking in as there is nothing worse than false advertising. I ended up staying at an absolutely beautiful place around the corner, Mahe Garden Inn and Villas. Gorgeous place, highly recommend.

Verified reviewWe accidentally booked a twin room, but the staff immediately upgraded us to a deluxe room free of charge. Unfortunately, this room faced the street, and the noise made it impossible to sleep. However, the staff happily moved us to a quieter room the next day, making our stay fantastic. The staff was amazing overall. The breakfast was very good, with fruit, eggs, sausages, a basic dessert, and coffee. The pool was nice, and the overall ambiance of the hotel was great. The rooms were spacious, very clean, and the bathroom had hot water.
The street-facing rooms are extremely loud—it was impossible for us to sleep there, but the staff quickly resolved the issue. Also, you have to rent a hairdryer, which felt a bit odd, though it’s inexpensive and a professional one.

Verified reviewIncredibly clean, well maintained. Bed and pillows were so comfortable. Quiet and good soundproofing. Convenient location. Staff are friendly. No lizards around incase you dont like them (they play some sound I think that scares them off), no bugs. Nice pool. Spent 12 days here and will return when back in Bali
