We loved everything! The location was perfect. You walk from your room and just straight into the ocean. The staff were so lovely and friendly! The rooms were very nice and clean. Breakfast was yummy! We love Amed and when we come back again we will stay at Tudes homestay again for sure!

The bed was not comfortable for me.

The accommodation and service were excellent. We had a sea-view room just a few steps from the water. Breakfast was outstanding, and you can enjoy it right on your terrace. Snorkeling equipment is available for rent at the property. There’s a wonderful view of Mount Agung. From the main road, where the hotel’s name is displayed on a sign, you walk down a small alley to the beach, and just a few steps away you’ll find the place. On the main street, there are plenty of dining options.

The location is exceptional. Very quiet but very central in Amed beach. Room was big, very clean with incredible view. The family ruining the place is kind and professional. Snorkeling and boat trip (organized by the owner) just in front of your windows.

Beautiful property with the kindest people in Amed. Owner and staff were just so lovely we truly felt looked after. The room is spacious, the bathroom and shower great and comfortable and everything was super clean. The room has a deck where you can take the sweetest naps with the sound of the waves. Right in front of the beach, 10 meters from where the coral reefs starts, and close to many restaurants and shops. Great for swimming , snorkelling and beautiful sunsets. Delicious breakfast delivered with the biggest smile. Available drinkable water at all times. Thank you we loved our stay here

Kadek and his family are so hospitable and friendly. The breakfasts are great and there is free-poor water and coffee 😃. The highlight was Kadek taking us out on his boat snorkelling - incredible! It’s a basic room with bathroom but right on beach and great value for money. Staying with a lovely family.

Lovely large upstairs room overlooking the beach and ocean, with a balcony and a view of Mount Agung and the gorgeous green countryside. Kadek organised a driver to pick me up at the airport, which was great because it was quite late at night. Really nice Breaky each morning delivered to my balcony. Kadek and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Did their 3hr snorkeling trip which was good. The highlight was Tudes Homestay was peaceful, and a good spot to watch amazing sunsets and sunrise from my balcony and the water. You can even snorkel right out front. I will definitely return to Amed and stay again at Tudes Homestay. Thanks Kadek and staff!

The thin sheet on the bed wasnt enough for us . A lite quilt or blanket would have made sleeping easier as would more substatial pillows however these are minor compared to how wonderful this place is .

The location was excellent ,there was excellent snorkelling right out of the front! We saw amazing fish , large , small and inbetween every colour of the rainbow . There was even a group of large blue starfish . My husband went on a snorkelling trip in a tradtional boat with the owner Kadek and had a great time . There are some great Warunhs nearby including Bobos , great food and fun . Rimba is stunning and has great coffee . A very well stocked supermarket with everything you need is also in walking dinstance . We stayed in the upstairs room snd enjoyed spectacular views of MtAgung everyday . Just beaware that if you have mobility issues this room will not suit you . Like most places in Bali the steps are steep and it is quite a climb ! Kadek , Putu , Isla? and all the staff are lovely and always helpful and welcoming .

Nothing. There was no hot water in the bathroom I had, but that wasn’t an issue as the outside humidity and temps are high and natural warm water temperature made it refreshing. The location on the beach is accessed via a small lane way and is sign posted off the main road, but may be a consideration for some if carrying your own luggage.

The warmth of the greeting on arrival, presentation and cleanliness of the room, friendliness of the staff, quality and choice of breakfasts included, tours on offer, location on the beach, walking proximity to shops, bars & dining options.

I think the bathroom needs things to repair. Also the shower was or to hot or cold. For me no problem but maybe other guests will have a problem

The location is super, near the beach. I liked especially seeing the busy people about diving, snorkelling. I had the upper room so I had a terrific view. The breakfast was very good and Kade with his son and daughter and the rest of the staff are very kind and helpful.

Our host Kadek was absolutely lovely, he is there to assist with anything you need and just such a humble man. He took us on a lovely fishing and snorkeling trip. We left at 6 o'clock in the morning and we were the only 2 people in the water. He also cooked us fresh fish on the beach and made us a lovely meal. His family is really so lovely. The accommodation is basic, but sufficient and about 50m from the beach. The water is amazing and the fish abundant. We can't wait to return as it was like a second home to us.

Kadek and his staff are all very welcoming and kind and I felt so at home and comfortable during my entire stay. The breakfasts were delicious and the location is right on the beach so you get to enjoy everything with a wonderful view of the water. I would absolutely return to stay here the next time I’m in Amed.

Ok it's not 5 star...but it's clean, comfortable and you can't beat the location.

Family operated Homestay that's right on the beach. The hosts are so lovely, always polite and available without being pushy or intrusive. Amed is a quiet place and Tudes makes the perfect accommodation to relax and enjoy. You can snorkel right off the beach or take a boat ride to do some snorkeling or diving. I have stayed here twice in the last 2 years and would highly recommend.

Only thing was the bathroom drains smelt a little (not massively) and could do with a new fridge in the room As this also smelt quite bad! But only minor things and would 100% come back here.

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was perfect, Kadek and his son along with the lovely staff were more than helpful the whole time! This place is right on the beach and in the morning/evenings the most incredible volcano view! Went out snorkelling with Kadek early morning to beat the crowds and was amazing! Breakfast was good and the room was good

We loved this friendly family run homestay. Our room was spacious, had fantastic views right on the beach with Agung looming. Breakfast was lovely, location an easy walk to restaurants, warungs etc. Can hire snorkeling gear, stand up paddle boards, boat to take you snorkeling etc. Staff were very helpful.

We would have appreciated slightly sturdier beds, as any movement caused the entire bed to shift, and there was some creaking. However, this is a minor detail compared to all the advantages.

We really enjoyed our stay at the homestay because it had a very family-like atmosphere. We had rooms upstairs on the first floor, so in the morning, we had a beautiful view of the volcano, and throughout the day, we could see the ocean. The accommodation was simple but spacious and very clean. Breakfast was perfect, and we loved that we could make coffee anytime since it was available right at the reception. Whenever we felt like having coffee or tea, we could just help ourselves. Kadek was a very kind and friendly host. One day, he took us out to sea, where we visited some of the most famous snorkeling spots. He taught us how to use the equipment, and later, when we were heading to our next hotel, he made three extra stops so we could see some local landmarks. Additionally, there are plenty of restaurants nearby where you can eat well and very inexpensively. And there are excellent massages too (100m from homesty)So, everything is within walking distance. you can go snorkeling right in front of the accommodation, where you’ll see plenty of fish – we even saw turtles. We have such fond memories of our stay. Now, we’re in a five-star hotel, but if we could swap, we’d go back to Kadek’s place without hesitation!

The location, staff, view, breakfast. Big room with very comfortable bed. Cleaned every other day. The bathroom is huge, a bit dated and worn, but clean. Hot water in shower ( careful not to get scorched) I had the top room ( steep stairs if you have problems climbing) the views beautiful. It is about 20 m walking in beach with case, but they will help. A brilliant find.
