RussiaWe arrived after a night on the ferry at about 11am. I understand that check-in is at 2pm, but there were definitely free rooms. They could have offered us to pay extra at least for early check-in, but this was not done. Although the hotel was half empty. And when I said this at 1pm, they offered us to check in 40 minutes earlier for the review. 1. The manager's work is terrible! 2. The towels in the room are already like stone, very unpleasant.
It is quiet and comfortable to sleep here. The bed linen is still good. There are robes. Hot water with good pressure. The rooms are pleasant.

GuernseyAt night the smell of cigarettes seemed to come through the air con at certain points. I can only presume that someone was smoking near the air take - this unfortunately happened every night we stayed there. Sometimes the area seemed so quiet it lacked an atmosphere. Even some background music or similar would have improved it - felt too quiet at times.

NetherlandsLocated on the (small) mountain and a bit away frum Kuta gives fantastic views but makes it less easy to reach when you don’t have scooter or car. But the manager Rahma helped us every time we needed transport so for us this issue was perfectly solved!
Beautiful view Nice terrasses with (some of) the rooms. The manager, Rahma, was a fantastic help. She drove us to where we needed to go and advised us very helpful. Really flexible help, thanks very much Rahma!!

AustraliaThe shower takes a minimum of 1 minute to heat up. Although this wastes water, it was a minor issue. The only real issue was that the design of the shower means that the whole bathroom gets flooded every time the shower is used. There are other nicer rooms available here that were not advertised but found out about only when I arrived here.
Booked the 'Executive suite' which was the nicest and priciest advertised room at Truntum. It was a bright room with wrap around glass on two sides offering views across hills, ocean and roads, with a glimpse of the race track too. A very comfortable bed. Good wifi speed. Good air-conditioning. Peaceful. I extended my stay for a few more nights because the staff are excellent, the food is delicious and the views are worth it. Although, I am staying in another room which has a smaller balcony and bathroom, but it does not flood, so in one way, it's an upgrade.

Location is great. Beatiful views, easy and fast to go to Kuta center by scooter (5-10min), easy to go to surf to Gerupuk. Up on the hill, it was so quiet and relaxing location. I stayed at Lombok 3 weeks and this was my favourite location. Staff is super nice, breakfast was great! Rooms were big, bed super comfortable, enough pillows.

MalaysiaOur ‘sea view’ room had the tiniest bit of ocean visible over the road outside our window. The food was extremely slow and bad (still frozen hash browns with breakfast and laksa smelt and tasted so bad we had to put it on another table as it made us feel sick). The lowest floor had an overwhelming smell of damp. The image is trying to be high end, but the experience doesn’t live up to it.
The view was lovely, but there is a lot of highway between the hotel and the beach.
