Road to get there is rough. TV in the villa didn't work

Right on the beach with easy access. Old but comfortable villas. Staff were friendly and helpful. 3 swimming pools and a great slide for kids

The property had a great family vibe to it including a waterslide in the pool! The breakfast was exceptional!

We loved the Location and the rooms were very comfortable and clean. The free karaoke bar with Michael was a lot of fun too!

Our bathroom had an open roof which led to bugs and insects coming in. The pool didn’t smell that nice. A lot of chlorine. Location is good but Mushroom bay is very quiet.

Location by the the beach, green garden and 3 pools. Sofia in the reception was so helpful answering all my questions, super service-minded. If you want a budget-friendly hotel at the beach this is a good choice. Mushroom bay is a nice beach and not far from dream beach which was amazing. Good beds and alright breakfast.

The water pressure in the showers is not good - but it's an island so you can't expect everything to be perfect. The wifi was patchy. The breakfast choice was very limited. Terrible coffee!

Nice bright room. Lovely staff. Right on the beach. The superior rooms and the bungalows were very pleasant. I was upgraded to a better room as my first room on arrival did not have water in the shower. If you book here. ask for the front rooms not the ones up the back of the property.

I wasn’t aware of the TANIS ferry that dropped you off and picked you up right in front of the hotel. I was sold a ticket on D’Star which meant a bone-jarring 30 min ride from another beach. Not the hotels fault.

Lots of privacy, 3 pools, lovely grounds and friendly staff and on the beach.

Did have trouble finding place, followed google maps, big mistake, when you get off the ferry at Mushroom beach, just walk along beach 50m to Tanis ferry office, you have arrived. Confusion with name, no one seems to know Tropical Gardens, they know it as just Tanis.

Breakfast was good and sufficient, location excellent, staff very friendly, management responsive, excellent value.

More seating furniture in the room - a lounge or armchair, would be good for older people. Sitting on the porch is fine but in the hot weather sitting inside comfortably would be good. I only stayed one night. The shower worked in the morning but the toilet and basin in the bathroom had no water. There is a rough road you have to drive down to get to the resort. There are other restaurants on the beach but access to a store after hours would be very difficult. I got hungry late in the night and could not access a shop. Transport provided by the resort to and from the place seems expensive at 150K IDR - alternative options may be available.

It's a beautiful resort. The gardens are very traditional and immaculate. Some rooms have sea views. The pools are amazing.. There is direct beach access and the food at the restaurant was good. There were good choices for breakfast.

Very close to monkey beach . Amid a beautiful nature . 2 pools and lots of places to relax . My room was spacious and clean with a view of the ocean by the balcony . The staff was amazing

The hill up for the rooms was a hike and difficult for my disabled father. The mosquito nets didn’t quite cover the beds.

We experienced a rat in the roof during both nights if our stay. Second day we had no hot water for our shower. However once we mentioned this they were quick to fix it. Towels could do with an update as very worn.

Location was great. Bed was comfortable. Good breakfast.

Liked everything

Location location location, right at the beach where speed boats arrive. Lots of restaurants close, friendly and helpful staff, they organise a scooter for you, medical staff or whatever u need. Loved it there.

One of the rooms had a sent of humidity and the pool pump was sometimes loud at night.

The view and the garden arrangement were beautiful. The rooms are being refurbished so some are nicer.

The approach road to resort is very bad and property should use own resource to repair it.

The staff behavior, promptness of services was excellent. The location of the resort, adjacent to beach facilitate any time bathing. The food menu was reasonable and breakfast also good.

The bathroom was fairly clean but the shower backed up a bit, the water did not drain away properly. The shower floors were not mopped and basin also were not cleaned daily.

Beautiful location. Good accommodation at good prices, breakfast was included in the price and it was a good breakfast. Omelettes were delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and the bed was very comfortable. Over all it was reasonably clean and comfortable.
