Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

FranceWell don’t be fooled, this place is invaded by flies, it’s not especially the hotel but the whole area. We stayed one night and I guess I wouldn’t stay for two, it is really unbearable Tents are cool but also means you can hear anything around ( roosters at 2 am, 3am, 4am ) I barely had any sleep during the night but also couldn’t really nap during the day with the motor cars around Restaurant is fancy and quite good food, but also very expensive compared to the rest of the country
Very beautiful place, charming The hot spring is an absolute luxurious treat since it’s colder outside than the rest of the country ( mountains ) Tents are beautiful and the bed is very comfy

BelgiumApparently it was harvest season so there were a lot of flies, but the staff did everything possible to make this a bit more pleasant.
The location is just perfect, you have a beautiful view and you’re next to the lake. If you want to do a hike up to Mount Batur, you can just start the hike from the Glamping site. The staff was very friendly and did their best to make you feel at home. The tents are nicely done and the food and cocktails are pretty great! Would recommend staying here.

IndonesiaNoisy. Hotel located very closed to another hotels. Tents didn’t block any noise, and some of the guests came at 8 pm and start talking and laughing till 11:30 pm. I asked staff (by messaging) informing the guests that they not alone, but it doesn’t help. If you have plan to go to the Batur, be ready that you can’t sleep normally.
All new, beds are comfortable, i like mini-bar and AC in the room, but didn’t use it. It was not hot inside - very fresh. Pool with hot spring water is amazing. The best in this area i think.

IndonesiaI can only recommend what to improve: the quality of food in the restaurant (but morning shakshuka was nice!) and also you could give 1 big and 1 small pillow (for now there are only 2 big pillows) because my neck felt a bit uncomfortable in the morning.
The place is so beautiful, stylish and quiet. I don't understand the reviews saying there are lots of flies in this property — excuse me, the flies are everywhere if you choose to stay in Kintamani, this is a farm area so this is a part of local nature. The second thing about noise — well, when you choose a tent you must understand that there is no soundproof. I was sleeping well because all the neighbours were respectful and quiet. It was an amazing stay. The pool is beautiful, we enjoyed bonfire in the evening. Yes there are a lot of noises from the nature (flies, mosquitos, dogs, cicadas), but I think when you come to a place like that you understand that this is a natural area. It's a perfect place to get grounded, to relax, to chill in a pool, to read a book near your tent, to enjoy dinner with mountain view and bonfire. We will definitely come back.

SingaporeCould be cleaner, especially the bathrooms. Also the way they charge for breakfast is very stingy. Only one drink, either a coffee or a juice. If you want both or a second cup of coffee they charge you extra. At the price you should serve unlimited coffee/tea for breakfast. Not a fault of the hotel but there are lots of flies due to nearby farms and it’s very noisy from barking dogs, motorbikes all night long.
The design and landscaping are one of a kind. Beautiful

SingaporeThe noise is pretty intense on several fronts so a sound sleep was somewhat elusive - the restaurant starts early in the morning, with their playlist on a loop throughout the day, until dinner has finished. This is within the site’s control so can be potentially reviewed and adjusted if they choose to. Then the night games start around 3am when the road beside the tents revs up with all the jeeps heading up the mountain for the early trekking tours. This is an unfortunate consequence of the otherwise amazing location. And the ever present flies are hard to ignore. A Kintamani issue that will be hard to solve for without compromising design at a site level.
Absolutely spectacular location and view of Mt Batur on a clear day. Friendly and well trained staff and the vibe in the place is generally very chill. The hot spring pool was a novelty and quite special. Food is solid. We drove a little around the area and this place is definitely one of the best.

CanadaOur first impressions were not very good. Walking into the restaurant area it was run down and needed lots of upgrading, and pool area was not set up. There is minimal privacy at this hotel. The glamping tents are very close together, and you can see and hear your neighbours. The interior of the glamping tents is painted black, making it hard to see if it's clean. The hotel is right next to a busy parking lot area which at 4 AM was very loud and obnoxious due to jeeps and motorcycles preparing to take tourists on the local hikes, waking all of the other guests up.
The hot springs pool was very nice and views surrounding the hotel were great. The staff were very pleasant and the restaurant offered high-quality food with nice presentations.

RussiaIt can get cold at night, so make sure to bundle up. Also, flies might be a bit of a nuisance, but that’s typical for Kintamani. Thankfully, there are almost no flies inside the tents, just be sure to keep the entrance closed.
I really enjoyed the glamping experience. It’s cozy and quiet, and very well located. There’s parking available, and inside the tents, you’ll find tables, small cabinets, and a bed with a comfortable mattress. The bathroom and shower are just a few minutes’ walk away. In addition, there’s a great restaurant and a nice bar on site. The highlight is the amazing pool filled with hot water from a natural spring – it’s so cool to relax in the warm water at night and gaze at the stars.

IrelandThe flies are a serious issue. We didn’t use the pool area or sit outdoors much at all by day. They are literally everywhere.. we almost left after our first night of two. They also hosted a group event there on our first night that was really loud and took over the restaurant and campsite area (playing loud music etc) quite late, when we were up at 3am to climb Mount Batur. Staff were apologetic but we would have really appreciated forewarning about this on booking
The property itself is really gorgeous, the tents are spacious and clean - though priced similarly to a 4 star hotel I feel they are quite overpriced. The food is only ok. Great location if climbing mount Batur- that was the reason for our stay.
