Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

NetherlandsI had a bit of an ant problem in the bathroom, but it wasn’t a big deal. It was clean and everything works.
Great location, a bit tucked away which makes it very calm. Lovely breakfast and the inner courtyard is gorgeous! The owner is really helpful and friendly too and I liked the breakfast.

ItalyMany ants in the room :( The wifi signal isn't very strong in the evenings, probably because all of the guests are at the guest house and using it.
The owners are very kind and make you feel at home. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and I loved my balcony and the view. Great value for money.

NetherlandsThe shower could use some renewal but it still works
Very kind hosts, the guesthouse is near the central roads but since the guesthouse is more jn an alley it is very quiet so you won't hear any busy bali traffic in the room. Also the room has a nice balcony with some plants that creates some shade, so it is nice to sit there and relax after a day strolling around in Ubud.

United StatesThe wifi was a little shaky at times.
The property was beautiful and conveniently located to shopping, restaurants, museums and art galleries. I had the most incredible view of the mountains that I awoke to every single day.The owners (Balik/Pande) were super nice and accommodating. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay with them.

United KingdomWe paid extra the first night and she never brought us the change, but it is fine, we just thought those we going to be their tips and we did the balance like that. We were allocated on a second floor room quiet small, or maybe it wasn't that small but the bed was huge🤣. We had a balcony with nice views, you can see diferent family temples from there, but it is mainly covered as just in front you have another building, and on the side you have the aircon machine and it is shared with the other rooms.
It is a family business and they seemed very humble. The husband show us around ubud, he was very friendly and nice. Beautiful banana pankake, I forgot to ask about the recipe! We tried in another hotels but nothing like theirs! Beautiful garden, if you want a real experience and see how Balinese people live, then you have to go there.

United KingdomSmell from drain in the bathroom. We had to cover it that smell would not go out. Water in the sink one day was brown color. The duvet had no cover. I guess they not washing after each guest, not hygienic. Family/ Owner offering Ubud tours. I would say driver service. Nice experience, however we find out later that overpriced. In the city everyone sell same trips 35 -37% cheaper.
Great location, spacious room. We had room with balcony it was nice to have tea in the evening in the balcony. A/c worked well.

AustraliaThree Brothers would be better to state that if arriving at night it can be difficult for a vehicle to enter the lane that leads to the hotel > or < 150 metres - Also not suitable for the elderly or incapacitated!
Three Brothers is very conveniently located in the heart of Ubud - The place is very serene - If you choose a top floor the view over Ubud is from the balcony is just that - a view over Ubud. Will return again!

South KoreaIt was really hard to find it at first, cuz it’s so deep inside of some houses and the locals seemed like they are not welcoming tourist. But once you find it, it’s okay. The bathroom is smelly little bit but if u close the door, it doesn’t bother you.
It’s in the main area so it’s definitely a nice location. The room was big enough for 2 person and clean. The staffs were so kind :) Nice breakfast everyday.

ItalyUnfortunately the room is dirty. When we arrived the bathroom’s toilet was dirty. The breakfast is poor and you have that feeling that the kitchen is dirty… better not to have a look at it. I rated it 7/10 because I know they live with booking and I don’t want to ruin their lives but if you’re looking for a clean please this is not the right one.
The owner is very nice. The location is very good. It’s not so convenient if you have so many luggage as there are stairs everywhere.

United KingdomThe bathroom was not in the best condition, it was smelling as well. We stayed on the 1st floor and there were noises from upstairs. Don’t recommend to stay on the first floor if you want to sleep nice at night.
The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. I recommend you to have the scramble and banana pancake. Location was very good, right in the center of Ubud. The room is big.

AustraliaI loved that the property is firstly a gorgeous temple with some rooms on the top floors. The location is great ,just around the corner from the busy and noisy street, you get a very quiet and peaceful environment while being a short walk from everything you need such as restaurants, bars and supermarket. The Monkey forest is also just 5min walking away. The owners are a Balinese family, extremely friendly and always helpful. Balik took me on a day trip with his motorbike and I get to see and experience a waterfall, the holy waters temple , a coffee plantation and the rice terrace. I had an amazing time and couldn’t recommend it more! If you’re looking for a true Balinese style experience, this is the place to be! Also, the place is a less than 10min walking distance from Yoga Barn, which is a great place to check out if you’re up to do some yoga and meditation.
