Breakfast was freshly cooked - choice available and served with a drink and a bowl of fruit. Staff were very kind - we arrived at midnight due to traffic issues and they couldn’t have been nicer. Room was spacious and shower was the best on our travels.

Located an easy walk from central Ubud, the Village Guest House is not only well placed for exploring Ubud, the grounds are extremely well maintained, rooms are well presented, clean and comfortable, breakfast is served in the dining room and has enough choices for there to be ‘something for everyone’, with my favourite being the banana pancake served with fresh fruit and juice. Add super friendly staff that pay particular attention to a daily room service, tourist info & tours on site and a lovely ‘refreshing’ pool, and I couldn’t want for more.

There was nothing I didn’t like however if I had to add anything it would be a small fridge in the rooms.

Everything! The room was great. The bed very comfortable. The shower was hot and powerful and the room very clean. Water/Tea/coffee and a kettle in the room too. There were towels for both showering and for use after the pool. The air conditioning worked well and the staff were all very helpful and lovely. The breakfast was plentiful and a good few choices available.

This was a wonderful place to stay while we were in Ubud. The rooms are comfortable, clean and very well appointed. There is a pool for a quick dip and the breakfast that is included is delicious! The hosts were wonderful and took very good care of us during our stay, including all of our transport to our various activities. You can also organize all of your day trips/activities through them at a very good price. The location is about 9-10 minutes walk to the centre, which means you are away from all of the noise/traffic that Ubud can experience. We loved this place and would have enjoyed spending longer here!

Property was so wonderful. The staff is AMAZING and so helpful in booking tours for a reasonable price! Rooms are spacious and clean and the location is right in the city center. The breakfast is amazing and the place is so beautiful! I would recommend this place to EVERYONE.

Fantastic location a short walk to Ubud town centre. The owner went above and beyond our expectations. Taking us on a day trip to the local butterfly and bird parks. Staff were friendly and very helpful during our stay at the accommodation. Breakfast was always filling - with fresh produce We highly recommend.

The rooms are a little tired but still great value for money

The guest house's location is perfect, within 10 minutes' walk of all the main shopping streets, spas and restaurants in Ubud. The rooms are comfortable and the pool area is serene. Despite being close to a road, there is barely any noise. I found the breakfast to be generous and it set me up well for the day

The place is beautiful and took us through a jurney of traditions and history. The owner is a great guy who made us feel like part of the family during our stay to The Village Guest House. During our stay here he teached us about local traditions and he made us part of them during a celebration day, which was a great experience and we felt honored to be able to be part of (felt like in one of the National Geographic documentaries). His trip recomandations were great and the experience was impactful. Clean rooms, healthy breakfest, cool pool and great personal. A big thank you Yannik for making our stay great. For sure we will come back and wait for you in Europe to see the snow ! C+P+D+I
