Location to Ubud & garden setting

No hand towels or bath mats

Location is good, you can just walk into town in around 10 mins. The gardens are very nice and well maintained. The staff were helpful whenever we needed them. Breakfast is pretty good. If you’re in town for a while and want a good location to get around to different places, definitely recommend.

We stayed here for just one night, and overall it was a decent experience. The place was simple but clean, and it had everything we needed for a short stay. It’s not luxurious, but for the price, it was definitely good value for money. The location was convenient, and check-in was smooth. While we didn’t spend much time there, it served its purpose well for a quick stopover. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly place that covers the basics, this is a solid option.

Nice location, pool was beautiful & lodge/rooms too. Very nice staff.

The bedding seemed old, used to be white but turned gray & looked a bit “dirty”

The rooms were beautiful, the pool was always clean and the staff were so helpful! Centre of Ubud was close and you can rent scooters from the hotel themselves for a great price! Honestly the best hotel for our first stop on the Bali tour!

The location was not far from the center and the staff were nice.

It was our worst stay during our two weeks stay in bali . The rooms had mold in them in the walls ,the towels were torn and not clean , the bed sheets were not clean. no phone to call the receptionist. The bathroom had the shower and the toilet in the same place which is completely absurd because if someone is showering the other person cant use the bathroom and vice versa, there is no window or any sort of air in the bathroom so it is always smelly. We find a big dead cockroach behind the curtains, , and in the morning there is construction so it is noisy

The aesthetic was lovely & clean. The owner managed to assist me with a conflict i had with a taxi driver, who picked me up in taxi block area using grab & then demanded cash as he hadn’t used the platform to follow journey.

I had an issue with the owner regarding a massage that i was asked to pay not at the time but at check out. Upon checking out i informed i will return at 2:30 to pay for massage, collect my bags & leave for the airport, this was agreed by 2 staff members. When i returned staff were nowhere to be seen, i shouted but as my taxi was already there i left expecting there to be an option to pay via card or bank. As i was frequently communicating with the owner via whatsapp he then threatened me with immigration, sent me cctv of myself leaving, told me to tell him where i am so he can send someone, that i will get bad karma & said he did not want to speak to me despite multiple efforts to make the payment including via booking.com, which he was ok with until he was not .

Beautiful property ! Very clean, green and great interior. Comfortable stay with lovely staff as well. The restaurant next door which was the brekky as well called Foci was excellent.

Comfortable stay, located on a busy road however the position of the property is quiet. Foot traffic from construction takes away from privacy on the room veranda but everyone is polite and friendly. Breakfast is repetitive but decent.

The property is very accessible to the main road and the shops like the mini mall, restaurants, and ATMs are within reach! Even walkable to Ubud central if you are up for it. Our room was very, VERY tidy upon arrival and whenever we requested for it to be cleaned. :) They had a good system of placing cards on linen beds and towels on the floor if you wanted it replaced. We were a big fan of the swimming pool and often used it, esp on a hot day!

We loved our stay at the Umari. Perfect location, easy to get around by bike, or only a 10 minute walk from the centre of ubud. The rooms are so spacious and clean, comfiest bed with two pillows each😍the pool was also really nice! The staff went above and beyond, we booked a hike to mount batur with them, which was cheaper than getyourguide etc. Couldn’t recommend more, one of our favourite places we’ve stayed after travelling for two months.

Perhaps more sun beds around the pool as people seemed to leave their towels on them, but not particularly an issue:)
