Ulu’s Klumpu is an absolute gem! Perfectly located just steps from the sea, it offers a serene setting that’s hard to beat. The rooms were spotless and beautifully maintained, making for a super comfortable stay. What really stood out was the staff—so warm, friendly, and always willing to help with a smile. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with genuine hospitality!

We loved all of it, especially the outside bathroom and how peaceful it was. The bed was comfy, the man was lovely and it was very clean and despite being in the wilderness had no issues with insects or animals coming in.

For us it was not a problem, but only one socket with an extension cord (3 socket). No refrigerator. Longer waiting times in the morning hours for Grab or GoJek.

Friendly and helpful staff, they even helped me out with an iron and a board to iron my wedding dress. Cool open air bathroom. Calm environment surrounded with cute animals. Cozy bungalow. Close to Padang Padang beach ~ 20 min walking, other beaches are maximum 10 min with GoJek or Grab. We had amazing meals at nearby restaurants within walking distance (10 min) , Loca warung and TG Warung.

I loved it!!

I LOVED this stay. The bungalows were soo nice and clean, and a beautiful overlook of the super nice beaches. I would have loved to stay longer. A lot of bungalows are like this around Bali, they’re more in nature with outdoor showers rather than a hotel kind of room. I think the other reviews just didn’t realize that. This is a very nice nature bungalow.

Staff were kind and friendly. It’s a minute walk to to the beach. You can view the nyangnyang beach. Super quiet place and very relaxing.

I loved being surrounded by nature and the sounds. The outdoor shower was amazing. The cabin was lovely, with everything I needed. The cabin was cleaned daily. The staff were amazingly kind and helpful.

If you aren’t interested in hearing and seeing wild life/animal and bugs this place probably isn’t for you. The bathroom is semi outside and there are monkeys, chickens and bugs that roam free outside. Our group found it interesting and didn’t mind but some others might.

The location is near a main road but far enough off that you didn’t hear it. Depending on traffic it took 30-40 mins to get into main uluwatu. It was a cool experience and watching the sunset from the cliff was amazing we also did some star gazing.

Its not correct 250 m to the beach. Maybe in air line. But you couldnt walk from the camp and downe. To get there we walked Maybe half an hour

Love this place. The endless sea view and cliff view was breathtaking. Everything is so natural here, you will see cows, chicken, monkey everywhere, and I basically woke up by the birds and roosters every morning. There are lizards and gecko too, I was scared in the beginning but since I chose to be here then I must overcome the fear. Oh the staff were friendly and helpful too!

I had the best sleeps, falling asleep to the sound of the crashing waves of the Indian Ocean below the nearby cliffs. Cabins are simple and rustic but comfortable. The bed was nice and cozy with a practical mosquito net because some bugs get inside, but really not anything concerning. If you’re looking for peace and solitude, or a place to meditate and reflect, you’ve found it. Cows, chickens, geckos, wild birds and monkeys in the surrounding nature. Hosts were friendly and helpful with a small menu at the kitchen, food and coffee were both high quality.

You have to realise this is a wooden cabin in a forest area, so there will be some critters and geckos in the room and bathroom area. However, the owner does his best to keep it at a minimum by cleaning the cabin daily! The location is a bit remote, so no shops are nearby but taxis can take you to Uluwatu in less then 15 minutes.

The owner is extremely friendly and helpful! Having some animals around really makes you understand that you are sleeping a bit in the jungle!

Surrounded by nature and a lovely cliff view from the property. If you are scared of bugs and animals this might not be for you. I would stay there again. The owners were really friendly and helpful.
