However, we were welcomed by a terrible smell of mold and dampness. The bed was so soaked with it that my pajamas smelled, and I kept waking up at night because of the odor and damp feeling. After three days, we managed to air it out a bit – we asked others and it seemed to be a problem especially in the ground floor rooms near the kitchen. The shared kitchen was in bad shape – at least by normal European standards, that’s how I’d describe it. Considering there were three staff members preparing breakfast each morning, the kitchen looked very neglected. Cleaning consisted of sweeping the floor and making the bed. The bathroom looked the same the entire week – meaning it wasn’t cleaned.

Nice and clean outdoor area, which ended up overshadowing even some major downsides. The breakfast was tasty – the pancakes were excellent. A plus was the option to rent a scooter for 100k (we got a better deal – 90k because we rented it for 5 days). The staff were friendly. Wi-Fi was great. The location is close to the center and not in huge ttaffic jams.

The staff went above and beyond helping us with activities, taxi’s, and recommendations. The pool was lovely, the beds comfortable, and the location was only around 10-15 minutes to ubud centre. Would recommend highly.

We couldn’t close the Bathroom Door properly and were not opaque.

We really liked the location of the accommodation. It is close to the center of Ubud, but still located in a very quiet area. The room was clean and well equipped. We were able to choose what to get for breakfast from a small „menu“ and it was freshly prepared.

Curtains should be washed and a little paint in the bathroom would make the stay perfect. Bathtubs and sinks are oldish and maybe a stronger product could be used or just leave a sponge in the bathroom for guest who want to give it a try ! :) please dont forget the fridge. The rest was just excellent !!!! Despite the children club next door they didnt wake me up at all and the views on the lush garden + pool were so good.

Great architecture, great dining area and breakfast as well. Great outdoor space and large rooms. Great wifi connection and easy to get taxis there. Staff is very helpful, speaking English or not. Great pool always in the sun. Lush gardens, just a little hidden paradise.

Staff were very friendly, Aldi and Wayan were always happy to help and aided us during our bout of Bali belly. Rooms were nice and the accommodation was cleaned regularly. Great people. Food was good. Wayan was a great driver too.

At 5am I was woken by a persistent knocking noise. When I went out to check it a staff was chopping onions and preparing food in the kitchen which is directly on the other side of the bedroom wall. I could not sleep with the noise. The room (#4) has huge glass panels covered in only shear curtains so light comes in and it is right next to communal kitchen and dining so not private. The staff did turn off most lights at night, which helped.

The room is clean and bright. Garden is pretty and the pool refreshing. Quiet location, except for the staff 5am food preparations just outside the bedroom.

There was a bit of mold smell in the bathroom.

The staff were very friendly and the pool area was so nice. For breakfast you have 4 menus to choose from, we ate pancakes which were really tasty. The owner also offered us a taxi drive to out next accommodation on our last day for a good price. You can also rent a scooter through the owner. They also had hot water which is not really common in Indonesia.

My room was not clean. Spiders net everywhere and lots of bugs.. the shower room was leaking outside so the wall was al moisty and not looking good. I was not so comfortable in it. Needs some renovation asap

The situation is near the center of Ubud, 5 min with a motocycle. The swiming pool was nice, but small. Nice host very friendly and offered me a tranport to the airport

Very short stay so can’t comment on location, but everything I did see I liked.

I booked this for an overnight solo stay, arrived about 8.30 pm and left at 10am the following day. Lovely welcome and very comfortable room and bed (just what I needed after long flight). Delicious breakfast and very kind and helpful staff who assisted with onward travel. Everywhere was very clean and pool looked very inviting. Great value for money.

We had a great experience staying at this hotel! The team is very helpful to organize motorcycle renting, also giving tips at Ubud and laundry service. A special thanks to the hotel who even drive us to our next destination even if it was a 2 hours drive! The room was charming (except the bathroom) and breakfast was very appreciated. Thanks again!!

Bathroom facilities are basic and meet the essential needs. Had to hold shower head because it wasn’t attached to the wall.

Good distance away from Ubud centre. 20mins via scooter with traffic. A very nice large room. Technically a shared balcony but felt private. Gorgeous pool and really nice breakfast. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful.

The breakfast was a little dry. The pancakes could be served with the option of syrup or even ice cream. They ran out of milk so I couldn't have my tea. I spoke with the owner about the bathrooms which need upgrading as they are outdated and he said he has plans to refurbish them. The owner was nice with lots of suggestions of nice places of interest to visit. The grounds of the building are regularly being cleaned which is lovely to see.

The surroundings, the ambience, and the bedroom were very nice. The staff were nice and helpful. It was a nice place to stay for a short visit.

When I checked into the property I noticed behind my wardrobe was a sliding door which lead from another room into mine. This was only covered by a curtain. I looked through and saw it was the staff room/luggage room. Even though they couldn’t see anything they could hear everything and vice versa. This made me uncomfortable so I explained this to the staff, one of them was laughing when i said this makes me uncomfortable as a solo female traveller. I understand he wasn’t doing this maliciously but I just felt the situation could’ve been handled better. After about ten minutes of me asking for a different room and them saying they don’t have one, one other staff member said I could change rooms the day after when someone else checked out. This made me feel a bit better but the rest of my stay I couldn’t help but feel paranoid lol. As well as this, both rooms I checked into weren’t cleaned properly. The first sink had the previous guests toothpaste all over the sink still. And the second room the curtains were filthy, the bedsheets smelt like they hadn’t been changed and the fridge had the previous guests empty cans in.
