We loved our stay! The staff are so wonderful and nothing is ever too much trouble. The property is well maintained and the rooms are clean and extremely comfortable. I highly recommend the oberoi if you are staying in Seminyak. It’s calm and so peaceful, and the grounds are beautiful. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

Everything was great!!

The Oberoi went well beyond our expectations. The staff were wonderful and so welcoming and friendly. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are outstanding and the pool is magic. It is an oasis on the beach among the hubbub of Bali.

Absolutely nothing. We could not find anything to fault at the hotel

The breakfast is A La carte with plenty of options. We are vegetarian and there was so much to choose from. We had the garden Lanai room and it was very spacious. The whole property is very clean and presented well. All the staff are very friendly and go out of their way to make your stay a memorable one.

Two municipal waste water streams border the hotel, the smell can be off-putting. Housekeeping with fresh towels was provided generally mid to late afternoon - not helpful if you have a villa with private pool. The free water bottles have metal lids which can produce very sharp cutting edges. Light in the bathroom a bit dim. Decor in rooms could do with a refresh.Area surrounding hotel is not in keeping with a five star hotel, budget tourist vibe. Beach resort is a misnomer. Yes the hotel has substantial beach frontage. However there is no hotel presence in form of loungers or service on the (public) beach. There are lot of (non-guest) surfers and passers-by; you couldn’t swim in the water due to strong currents during our stay.

The gardens are lovely. The staff is very friendly and kind. Nothing is too much trouble. The garden villa with pool had a large pool and a superb private garden. Your own little paradise. Excellent breakfast and lovely afternoon tea.

I recently stayed at this resort in Bali, and I can confidently say it was one of the best travel experiences I’ve ever had. The location was stunning and the facilities were excellent, but what truly set this place apart was the staff. From the moment I arrived, every single person I interacted with was incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful. Whether it was the front desk team, housekeeping, restaurant staff, or security, everyone went out of their way to make me feel welcome and taken care of. You could tell they weren’t just doing a job — they truly cared about the guests and it showed in every small detail. Their kindness and professionalism turned a great trip into an unforgettable one. If you’re looking for a place in Bali that combines beautiful surroundings with world-class service, this resort should be at the top of your list. I’ll absolutely be coming back.

The paving in the walkways needs to be re-laid. I twisted my foot twice due to the uneven levels. Resort should either be adults only or a pool for kids should be added as there where some days that the pool was very busy and noisy with kids. These are my main recommendations for improvements otherwise a lovely place with great service and professional employees

Breakfast was nice however some years ago when we stayed they had white table cloths on the table for breakfast and this was missing this time. Main restaurant was nice with good food but a bit overpriced.

The turn down service was too late at night. Sometimes the staff forgot to bring stuff.

The food is OK, not amazing considering food prices are high. This shouldn’t be a detractor though because everything else is perfection and you can go out for food!

The grounds are magnificent and the service is exceptional. All staff are engaging and attentive, like no other hotel I’ve experienced. It is absolutely worth staying here to be surrounded by the most beautiful gardens and Balinese buildings and to be treated by their beautiful staff. 10/10.
