Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomBreakfast wasn’t included which I think is rare for a 5 star hotel. But it was actually very reasonably priced and the buffet was excellent. Definitely worth paying for.
We only stayed for a short stopover after getting back from a trip to Raja Ampat and then flying back to London but after arriving, I wished I had given us a few more days at The Langham. The room was huge and gorgeous. The staff were wonderful and the food and drink were fantastic. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

It is a beautiful property, and the staff are amazing at welcoming you and they have a high degree of customer service. The location was great, and it felt very chic and luxurious.

MalaysiaI stayed for 2 nights at the end of June. First I saw strands of hair on my bathroom wall when I entered the shower. This was never cleaned properly until I checked out 2 days later. Shows the lack of attention to detail and lack of cleanliness. The concierge mixed up my messages and booking, confusing my colleagues. Another example of lack of attention to detail. Then, there was also hair in my breakfast fried noodles. Again an example of lack of attention to detail. The staff and chef personally apologised and made me a fresh plate. However it's shouldn't have happened in the first place for a luxurious hotel like Langham. For the price you are paying, it is quite disappointing to be honest.
The ID is very nice and the food was good at breakfast and the different restaurants.

The hotel and service were incredible. We stayed for 4 nights and I can honestly say it is the best hotel we have ever had the pleasure of visiting. The service throughout was second to non and the rooms were fabulous. We visited the roof top bar which was superb with great views and a great atmosphere. We also visited Tom's by Tom Aitken and the experience here was so good that we visited twice during our short stay. Syaeful Abidin and his team made us feel special on both occasions and the food was amazing.

ThailandI absolutely love the breakfast but haven't really liked that much else on the menu. But I do think the all-in English food theme isn't a great match for me. I also find the music at Tom's to be too loud. I had a couple of meetings there, which got a bit hard to hear.
Might be my favorite hotel breakfast anywhere. Hotel staff are amazing.
