Not that it was an issue for us but there are a few flies around just for awareness. And some minor things in the room like a small leak in the roof BUT for the price and view it was well worth it and I would not let that deter you.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. This is the perfect place if you want to be away from the rat race. Quiet and only 4 rooms. If you are driving it might be a bit difficult getting up the hill. Omelette for breakfast was delicious and had dinner delivered to our room. Hot Springs and Mt Batur short drive. Highly recommend if you just want to sit back relax and enjoy the view and peace and quiet. Our plane was delayed, our driver had difficulty finding the place but the owner came up at 11.30pm and helped and his staff were more than happy to help out during the day.

Since the property is still new, some parts of it were still unfinished. But huge potential, they deserve all the support they could get, truly some of the best people I've bumped into

Staff would do the above and beyond to ensure you're as comfortable as possible. Best customer service I've seen in a while! Best views of Kintamani too. The owner was extremely friendly and humble, always ready to support you in all your needs. Really good value for money

    Great but with some caveats!

    See above.

Beautiful view (arguably the best in Kintamani) big comfortable room with airconditioning and most importantly for me, it was extremely quiet and peaceful. The road to get up to the property is very rough and steep which is why they transport you in a 4x4. It would be very difficult (but not impossible as I saw locals doing it) to navigate this road on a scooter. The flies in Kintamani can be totally insane but that's the area not the property so I won't mark it down. The staff are super friendly but all have very basic (to non-existent) English so using translation software is essential. The jacuzzi attached to the rooms are currently out of commission (I think the owner is waiting on parts to repair them as I write this) so if that's important to you make sure you ask before booking. Overall for the price it can't be beaten if you are willing to accept some caveats.

Condensation meant we were dripped on in the night. Lots of flies during the day. Had one in my coffee. Jacuzzi was cold, it's quite cold up in the mountain. Not much privacy in the rooms. I felt we were pestered to have breakfast on time, the owner was hanging about and sending me messages. Also loud noises at 3am with jeeps going up the hill for trekking. Access to the room was up a dirt road that even the taxi drivers found difficult. In our room, the way the curtain opened obscured the view of the sunrise, so we couldn't enjoy the view fully from our bed

Amazing view. Rooms were clean and tidy. Nice that we were given a lift to a nearby restaurant. Staff were polite and helpful. Generally a quiet location. Useful to have a fridge and kettle in the room.

middle of nowhere - you must plan if you want to stay here. but there is no reason to

the road to access the 4 rooms - it is a dirt track - this should be relayed to customers before hand, as it is not suitable really for a rental car to go up - jeep is preferable the breakfast was cold . the owner hadn't told the workers we were coming - so we turned up and didn't even know if we arrived at the right place - as no sign. flies are everywhere - they should give customers spray to combat this problem. nothing around either for food options

room was big and suitable to stay there for our trail race
