Great location. Shower was hot and good water pressure.

Room smells damp. Lots of noise from the family early in the morning. Nobody to be seen at check in or when trying to order breakfast in the morning (I wouldn’t bother booking breakfast it’s not worth the hassle and time it takes)

Central location, plenty to do, see and visit within walking distance. The premises have a nice traditional Bali vibe.

As there were no ground floor twin rooms available I paid for a second room upstairs (at the same price as the ground floor room). The stairs are external and quite slippery in the rain. In the morning the staff informed my travel companion the price we paid included only one breakfast 😏 No argument from us, we simply walked down the road and enjoyed a delicious breakfast for very little cost. Although the room appeared clean there was a receipt from 4 months prior in a drawer so the cleaning could be more thorough.

The family holding the guesthouse were very kind and treated us very nicely and the location is great for starting trips around Bali. Many restaurants around, spa and Coco market 5 min away to get some bottled water.

The double room that was offered to us was full of mold and a strong smell of dampness. the paint was coming out from the wall due the mold. When we asked to see another room and the staff was very nice and offered another room that had 2 separate beds, the smell of mold was less in this room, however was difficult to sleep there breathing the smell of dampness and mold soaked into the bed sheets. We've paid £55/night which extremely high price for what was offered. From the way the rooms looked was an easy 10-15£ maximum per night, and was quite noisy too as is very close to the street and you can hear the traffic. We were sick of Bali belly and we couldn't travel again and have the power of searching for another right away. I do not recommend the place if it will be in the same conditions. Also there we had breakfast included, however the property had the kitchen in refurbishment so we didn't have any breakfast even though we paid the price.

The room was nice and location convenient (walking distance to the monkey forest and around 15 min walk to the Ubud palace)

No rest. We couldn’t rest in our 4 days there. We booked it because of the reviews. But we arrived at night and were woken up by constructors 2 meters from our bedroom door. They were making noise and listening to music from 8pm to 6pm nonstop. When asked the staff and complained on booking they said: Sorry, we are building our kitchen. That’s not really our problem. And even when the construction wasn’t really noisy, the family was all around screaming right at our door and windows until around 7pm. Also, when I arrived in the room the nightstand table was sticky with who knows what and there was a tweezer from another guest.

Easy to check-in, quiet place, away from busy road, close to center, cheap room, provided towels and tea and coffe

No family room - our son sleept in another room, maybe reconsider some additional single bed for kids...
