Zul (Jul) was so welcoming and helpful and kind and...... 5 stars!!!!!! The atmosphere was great, very cosy and "homy". The breakfast was great, the rooms very confortable. We had a health problem but a doctor came and we were very carefully and effeciently treated.

Owners very nice Location also good, you can rent bike to get everywhere easily At night you can walk to the main area, just the short way to the hotel itself it a bit bumpy but that‘s not too bad A/C worked well Good breakfast For the cheap price it‘s for sure fine to stay there

Wifi wasn‘t great Without A/C it got really hot in there (not the fault of the property) Could be a bit cleaner, but I feel like it‘s the same with all the hotels in Bali/Lombok etc. Mosque very loud at 5am but, again, not the fault of the property

It’s a nice bungalow with great staff.

It’s close to the mosque and Ramadan just started. We haven’t known that. So we woke up every night.

Just one “problem” was the mosque, which is really close to bungalows, so you van hear it very loud. But our stay here was fantastic. The stuff is doing breakfast, can rent a bike and organize snirkeling trip for you.

The location to the city center was within 10 minutes walking distance and the bed was comfortable, that's all there was good about this place.

This was not a pleasant stay for me. The room was dirty and the bathroom even more so, I do not think the linen was changed prior to my arrival, it smelled funny. The whole bungalow was made out of straw/bamboo, so expect to hear everything. Your neighbours doing it, employees working, goats, roosters and the worst part - the mosque in the vicinity, as every single day at 5am, 12:30pm and between 7pm and 8:30pm there are loud prayers to be heard on the megaphones. The toilet was additionally built outside, with a straw roof for cover which leaks and has debris from the roof falling on top of the toilet, not to mention when it rains, it pours through the roof so on the day of my check-out (thank god) it was raining through every single hole in the roof possible. You sit on the toilet, you're wet, brush your teeth by the sink, pouring from the roof, the cupboard with an electrical socket in the vicinity, wet and so was my bed. The lighting in the room was terrible, even worse in the bathroom. Breakfast is just one pancake with 6 slices of banana and an instant coffee. Employees seemed like they didn't want to be there most of the time, breakfast was supposed to be between 8am and 10am and nobody was ever there at that time, you had to go and find someone by the reception to ask if you can have breakfast. Also had to ask for a roll of toilet paper. I was very happy to leave as I did not have a proper sleep in this bungalow, I suggest you search for another accommodation and rather pay a bit more, this one really isn't worth it.

The staff that work here are really nice and very helpful. Location is less than 15 min walk from the main road with restaurants / beach.

The room is very dark and feels very dingy, even with the curtains open. The walls of the bungalows are extremely thin - you can hear EVERYTHING. There is a mosque nearby so there is chanting at 5am every morning from 30 minutes which is very loud. The AC doesn’t work very well as there are gaps in the walls which lets air in. This also means that there are a lot of mosquitos in the room too. The shower is cold and doesn’t go hot - it’s also in the middle of the bathroom so everything gets wet. Definitely not worth the price.

Clean with a good location walking distance from the Harbour.

Some minor problem with the room that was the fault of previous guests but the staff was super nice and changed our room for the following days. Thank you so much. People are complaining about the mosque and noise around but it’s something you get use to as it’s everywhere around and also not the fault of the hotel.

The staff was very cool and helpful.

It was too close to the mosque for the 5am call to prayer, so loud it sounded like you were in the mosque.

I stayed from Monday - Friday, When I first arrived on Monday after a lengthy boat ride in the sun, I was in an anxious mindset due to it being a new island and the heat. You walk past most of the main accommodation areas and head into the village, the path turns from stone to dirt and it's roughly a 5-10 minute walk and is located near a Mosque. The journey back to the villa at night was also a tad worrying the first time around 1am as there is not much lighting, but started to be alleviated as I walked past most of the villagers who were just doing their own thing, chatting, playing guitar hanging out etc. Sleeping in that bed with the aircon was very relaxing, I found the bed very comfortable and the pillows the right amount of firmness I like. The bathroom and shower situation is basic, gets the job done, no soap or shampoo provided but I came prepared. After that first night and a good sleep I started to see what a nice place it was, I personally love the aesthetic of the bungalows. I got more comfortable and enjoyed the small chats with the staff, they were able to refresh the rooms upon request, they offer Biking and snorkelling services, I only hired a bike. For the price you are paying you do get value.

Just be mindful light sleepers, the bungalow walls are very thin and location wise it's in the village meaning there is local farm animals, Roosters calling and it's in the vicinity of a mosque that does it's prayer connected through a speaker around early morning 5am and again 12pm, it only goes for a short amount of time. I actually found the prayers calming albeit not religious myself. It didn't affect me to much, this is just a heads up for light sleepers. Walking through the village at late times it can be alarming as some paths are not well lit but the roads are populated with a few locals just doing their thing along the paths, running their shops, chatting, playing guitar together etc, there are also tourists around and it is a short walk , it was easier after the first night once I was familiar with everything and it is just down the road from the main strip.
