Bathroom and toilets are quite rudimentary, but expected for the room price/value. They put too much perfume on the sheets to my taste, so the smell was very strong..

Warm welcome from the owner and the staff. Pretty garden with tables to share lunch or dinner with other guests. Rooms were simple and OK for value, really close to the harbour.

If you expect Luxus, you might be at the wrong place. But for us, fter 3 days on mount Rinjani, it was everything that we needed. The location is great, and the family is very lovely. They also have a little restaurant, where you can eat some great food!

AC gave out in the morning. No wi-fi, though it doesn’t list wifi so that was expected.

One of the only places you can actually stay near Bangsal harbor. Far enough from the main drag that it’s nice and quiet, and the staff/owner were very friendly and helpful. Made a good breakfast and helped moped my bags down to our boat office.

The toilet is downstairs. No warm water (not terrible because Lombok is generally hot). The walls of the room are very permeable when it comes to sound. If you are lucky and get a quiet neighbour it's not a problem. The road to the property gets muddy and floods when it rains.

The place is very close to the port, which makes it very convenient to catch the boat. The bed is comfortable and there is an adequate number of power sockets around. The owners are nice. The view from the balcony is very good.

Kettle, coffee and tea i the bedroom would have been good. Also the shower needed fixing...small things really.

The couple that run the place were just wonderful,l and we received the most lovely welcome. The location was perfect for catching a boat the next day, literally a 5 minute walk from the port. The room was quite basic, but it was a good size, had a comfortable bed, and crucially had good AC. One more thing, it also had the most delightful little garden. If we're ever in Lombok again, we would definitely stay here.

I chose The Daun Puntik Homestay because it’s just a short walk from Bangsal Harbour. I arrived by speedboat and could easily reach the homestay on foot. The next day, I started a 4-day boat tour to Komodo, and the location was perfect since the meeting point was just around the corner. The room was very simple, with only cold showers and no Wi-Fi, but it was sufficient for one night—especially given the warm weather. The food was tasty and the staff friendly.

The toilet of our room didn’t have a ceiling which felt a bit awkward. Rooms are not soundproof.

Very pleasant stay. Our host Hajie was most helpful with information about Lombok and connected us with very good driver for travelling around the island. The room was large and bed comfortable. The room was otherwise basic as to be expected for a homestead. Food was prepared by Haije's wife and was excellent.

We didn't get WiFi so not sure it's available or good. There isn't anything in the area like restaurants or grab etc so just suitable for a night to crash.

We booked very late for one night as we were delayed on our way to the Gili islands. The accommodation is 4 mins walk to the boat. Owners are so friendly. And they cook you omelette and a coffee in the morning. Room was very basic but had good AC and seemed clean. Bed was fine. Overall was perfect for our use of sleeping and getting up to go the gilis.

This isn't a criticism of the stay, just information I think would be helpful to others. There's no WiFi. Sound from the roads carries to the room, even though the house is separated from the main road, and there's no noise insulation between the guest rooms.

The family who run this homestay are wonderful, kind people. Aji was lovely to talk with as he was full of stories and advice. He's happy to help arrange tours and activities in the local area. The food was delicious and definitely appreciated. The room is basic but functional, you have everything you really need. The location is good for accessing the harbour, and quite pretty. The guest rooms share a big balcony with a view over the sea towards the Gilis.

Hired a ferry ticket with a guy at the port and when he picked me up at the HomeStay the family said they knew him which made me feel safe about it but turns out it was a ripoff
