We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The location is perfect, the staff are genuinely kind and the restaurant delivers incredible food and service. Every detail exceeded our expectations. What stood out the most was the way the team went above and beyond for us. They gave us helpful tips on how to get around and even tried their best to find the scooter model I was looking for. They always welcomed us with a sincere smile and a very professional attitude. The hotel offers everything you could wish for including relaxing massages, great drinks, delicious meals, spotless cleaning and a truly comfortable atmosphere. It is hard to put into words how high the standards are and how well they take care of their guests. We left with only the best memories and cannot wait to come back.

Around a 10-15 minute bike ride from the main roads of Uluwatu.

Beautiful place! They have seriously thought of everything! Rooms were stunning, food was delicious, pool was great and the beach is a 5 minute walk away. We loved it here!

The Balangan Hotel was so beautiful! From the moment we arrived we were amazed at the beauty of the grounds, the room and the pool area. We could not fault the food and the drinks it was all so delicious. The property is a short walk away from the beach and some lovely beach bars. If you are looking for a beautiful and peaceful sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle but not too far away, this is the place for you! We can’t wait to return ☺️🙏✨

The property itself was perfect. However, I’d rate the location is a 7/10. It’s good for a surf as the beach is walking distance but there’s not much else around. It’s about a 30min drive into Uluwato to get to all the bars and restaurants.

The rooms are beautiful, clean and comfortable and pool is a great place to relax. This hotel became our peaceful space in between adventuring. It’s so well taken care of and the staff is AMAZING. They also make amazing espresso-based for our fellow coffee snobs.

The only thing that we did not like was the location. It is far away from main attractions and you must get a taxi.

The place is really clean and looked after. It is very cozy and beautiful. The staff was helpful and very nice. Also the breakfast was great!

No negatives. Perhaps the only recommendation is to add baggage holders. It makes a big difference for travellers

The hotel was magnificently designed with a traditional feeling, scattered with modern touches. The rooms were stunning and functional. Really loved our stay here and would recommend highly.

Because the hotel is new, it was not properly mapped on Grab. However, an easy way to get around this is to put Merta Sari as the location (the name of the previous hotel)

The hotel is new, quaint and cozy, not too many rooms and people so it didn't feel like a normal big hotel but more like a place to chill and recharge with all the amenities needed. The staff was also very warm and attentive to the needs of customers. The hotel is very close to the Balangan beach which was one of the best beaches we went to during our trip so definitely check that out instead of just the usual Padang Padang or Melasti beaches. Overall, very good experience and would highly recommend staying there when visiting Uluwatu.

Beautiful and relaxing place, with nicely decorated rooms by the pool. You can enjoy a variety of options for breakfast in the morning, which you can enjoy from your terrace or in the restaurant. The hotel Staff is very helpful and friendly. Location is perfect and in less than 5 min you can reach the Balangan Beach and enjoy some of the restaurants or just the ocean views from there.

Beautiful design, amazing food and the friendliest staff ever! It is located in a very quiet area and really close to the beach. Because of construction work, I got upgraded to a better room further away from the noise. They even provide earplugs and an eye mask to sleep better!

The only tiny suggestion would be to maybe add a bit more storage space in the room — but honestly, that’s a very minor thing compared to how amazing everything else was.

We had a truly wonderful stay! The design of the property is stunning — every detail is stylish and thoughtful. The entire place is spotless, and the garden and shared spaces are beautifully maintained. One thing that was really important for us — no issues with insects at all, which made our stay even more comfortable. A special thanks to Marie, the owner — she’s absolutely lovely and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. Our first room was beautiful but a bit noisy, and we were moved right away to another one with no fuss — such a smooth and kind response. We also really enjoyed the food — fresh and delicious!

The room is absolutely beautiful, stunning design and everything is thought out to the smallest detail (two very comfortable pillows per person, magnifying mirror, USB sockets, night mask...). The hotel and the room is super new and clean. The option of having breakfast in the room is fantastic, surranded by the well-kept greenery and the view of the pool. If you surf the location is perfect since it is a 5 minute walk to the beach. The staff is always really polite and friendly.

The water pressure in the shower wasn't very good and the temperature wasn't consistent. There was also a slight smell of urine in the shower.

Love the property! The breakfast, staff, rooms and food were all amazing - there was an option for us to hang around the pool after 12 PM check out and then use facilities at the property later on to shower and get ready before our flight - we really appreciated this!! The beds were incredibly comfortable, I need to know where they get those pillows from!! Firm yet comfy mattress, we had great sleeps and the rooms were beautiful.

Had a great short stay at The Hotel Balangan. The breakfast was nice, the bedroom beautifully designed, and the Wi-Fi was fast. Staff were friendly and helpful, and it’s just a short walk to the beach. Would definitely stay again!
