Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

JapanFor a parson like myself who do not ride on the bike, there is not much choice to look around in a walking distance. A beach is not for walk, there are many stones, not sand. There is no cafe or restaurant in a walking distance. No delivery service, we cannot use Gojek. I mentioned this for the people who might need to be aware of. And you never known the situation might change any moment. So, I simply swim in a pool which is cleaning everyday, having meals for 3 over night, sitting in a couch, listening the wave. Visiting old temples, purchase good salt, had really nice time!
View, silence, easy to talk with staff, etc... The owner of this property is very supportive. I said what is my interest which are visiting old temples, and purchase salt. He arranged for me in one go. I recommend for those who prefer to have a shanti time. And if you are more active, you need a bike.

Romaniathere are a lot of ants, but that's not unusual in Bali.
We had a beautiful stay at The Amrita, nicer than we expected. The space was very generous, very confortable beds. such a treat to take a shower under coconut trees, hearing the ocean.

AustraliaOne of us would have appreciated a softer pillow option. Wine at the villa was Balinese, and only by the bottle. No wine available in local shops. No money changers available in the area. Quite a walk to larger supermarkets, smaller ones are fairly close. There are 2 & 4 wheel transport options.
We liked the spacious room and our front porch, the lovely friendly staff, chats about Balinese language and culture, the ocean view, beautiful gardens and pool, sunrise and the daily salt-farming operations, continuing a hundreds of years old tradition. The included breakfast was great, All meals were great, made with ingredients sourced fresh daily. WiFi was strong with a big range! Close local shop for chips and drinks. We appreciated the long hours of gorgeous sunshine

SwitzerlandThe lights are a little bit weak, outside and inside, make it difficult to read at night. The family room could also accomodate a little more furniture outside : hammock or lazy stuffs. A more exhaustive and accurate list of activities can also be made. Looks likethe list we received was a bit outdated. Last, the Amrita could play the salt farm card a little more, for exemple, display the products somewhere ? Or better, a littlewelcome gift with samples from the farm
The staff is great : a very warm welcome and always very kind and helpful. The owner is also a fine person and I took pleasure dealing with anyone. The room we had was the family : it is huge and very comfortable. Yes the house is semi open so you'll get gecko and some ants but we did encouteranyting bad in the room (haven't seen any mosquitos !). The noise of the waves that seems to be in the roo made us sleep so well! The food is also quite good and seems rather fresh. A nice little selection of local and western menu The amenities are basic but quite ok : the swimming pool is good and we enjoyed spending full day at the hotel, in a quite atmosphere The location is a bit remote but you can easily drive a scooter around, the traffic is far from what we see in south Bali. Also, tne team will help you by finding what you need. Right on a rocky beach, swimming is not ideal but possible depending the tide. Sunsets are, however, awsome. Tours to nearby attractions, including day trip to lovina (dolphin, snorkel) is also possible

IndonesiaPath/road into facility could be a little smoother. Was asked to check out slightly earlier than listed due to other guests arriving earlier. Not really an issue though.

Germany2nd cup of coffee for breakfast was charged additionally. Quite limited offering for lunch/dinner. Accommodation was excellent but even you rent a scooter there’s nearly nothing outside - no great earrings or restaurants like in other regions of Bali… My friend was there for excellent diving experience
Great stuff and advisors. Seaview. Chilling pool area…

AustraliaThe salt farm wasn’t working because we stayed during rainy season. We will be back to see it though - between April to September.
The property is small with only 4 rooms (2 double, 2 twin) and a large 2-bedroom bungalow. These are traditionally built which does mean they are “open”. However there are mosquito nets and air conditioning which make the rooms very comfortable. The outdoor bathrooms are delightful. Water dispensers are in every room. We loved the fact the pool is 3m deep to allow for diving training. There is a shallow section for non-swimmers. Food is simple but delicious. They ask for your orders in advance so that they can go into town and purchase fresh ingredients. Staff are attentive and friendly. We will be back.

AustraliaIt was a bit warm in our room on one night as the room had open space at the ceiling which didn't keep the airconditioner cool air in, which is needed at night.
We had such a lovely, relaxing time. Staff were so helpful and friendly. The view was beautiful and the working salt farm was interesting. Great value for money.

AustraliaThe aircon is not big enough for the room size and it was very warm. The food was sometimes hit and miss but the breakfast was amazing.
This place is more beautiful than the pictures do it justice. The pool is sublime with amazing views of the salt farm and the ocean. Quiet and secluded with only 5 rooms, it felt like paradise. Amazing staff and comfortable room. You feel close to nature and surrounded by farms, other small resorts and everyday life in Tejakula.

Nice quiet location overlooking the beach with an amazing pool in lovely gardens. The rooms are basic but comfortable and spacious. Staff were very welcoming and friendly with a good breakfast delivered to your room to enjoy. Wonderful place to base yourself to get off the beaten track and head up to Kintamani by scooter to explore the area for the day.
