Nothing luxurious but relatively clean and definitely worth the money. Nice place if you don’t wanna spend much money on accommodation.

It was quite hot inside of the room. You can hear the noise from the street. But for that money it was absolutely worth it. I just cannot imagine to sleep there many nights.

We spent only one night here, did not book any of the tours bc Iljen was closed at that time :( I can imagine that the tour would be amazing here and it would add the value. The owner is very nice and welcoming 😊

It’s not the cleanest place I’ve been to, especially the shared bathroom looked a bit yucky…

The hosts were very helpful and nice, they helped us in renting a motorbike and with a lot of recommendations about the area. It has a nice location in Banyuwangi, the area around is calm and chill, but close to shops and restaurants. The bed was comfortable.

You could hear voices from patio, sounds from the street, hovewer ear plugs can solve the problem. Installing mosquito net would solve problems with mosquito that I heard in the night.

Nice place run by Gennie and Steve. It is perfect place if you want to visit Kawah Ijen. In afordable price they arranged us shared trip to volcano and after return from the trip a transfer to Kuta on Bali. Owners recomanded to us great sea food restaurant in the local port so ask them for it when you come.

We took a Family room. Single room with 2 double bed queen size, with private bathroom. For a family with parent and two children ... This option is very good choice. This room is large and very comfortable The value for money is great ... The owner is a nice lady and we are enjoy talking with her. ... About the trip to Ijen or Bromo ... This is a great place to stay

it is not a nice facility, but to be honest, for such a price and awesome hospitality it was superb.

the owner is absolutely nice. She helped us organize a transfer from Bromo and a visit to Ijen. We spent only a few hours there.

The room was quite old though in not a very good shaped. Others were better so maybe this one will be the next improvement.

This family is very lovely! They picked up us at the train station around midnight and were very taking care of us during our stay. The room was big which is cool. The A/C worked perfectly. It's impossible to find better quality price ratio I guess. Especially with lovely people. For those who like, there are many lovely cats too 🐈 🐈 🐈‍⬛️

The host was lovely, we received complementary breakfast and there was free coffee and tea. The air con was good, bed was comfortable, and there was plenty of space. We booked the Mt Ijen tour through Thalia which was great and simple to book.

The entire room is mouldy, the room stinks of mould. And I won’t even talk about the shared bathroom. I wouldn’t recommend sleeping there, you will probably finish sick. But very practical to leave backpacks to go up mount Ijen solo without a organised tour.

We used the room to leave our bags to go up Mount Ijen solo with scooters and no guide.

Single room was a smoker room and super smelly. Matress on the floor in a rather dirty place. Wholes in the wall which were covered up which kept falling down onto bed. Everything in the room is old and falling apart. Unfortunately very loud with scooter coming in and out the backyard all night. The door feels very broken and unsafe especially with your head right next to it on the floor. Stayed for the same price in much better places. Maybe ok for one or two nights but not a place to relax.

Location is great. The hosts are super lovely and I even got breakfast when coming back from Ijen.

Everything was perfect

Everything was perfect! The people of the home stay were so lovely and helpful - we did the Mt. Ijen tour through them and they helped us sort out medical certs beforehand too, they also helped us sort out our transport to Malang which we are so grateful for. The location is perfect, close to the main street and the room is spacious! 10/10 recommendat

Thalia was an amazing host, very communicative and helpful with all our questions and always responded fast. She arranged a Ijen tour for us and also a local shuttle back to Bali afterwards. She also provided breakfast after the tour. Excellent value for money.

Jenny gives the best hospitality and the place is really better that they show on pictures. They just let us stay earlier of our check in time and they offer ijen tour, so everything was really easy.
