Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GermanyIssue with the room at first, however it could be sorted out quickly. The coffee at breakfast wasn't my cup of tea.
The accommodation is set right in middle of the jungle, with breathtaking views from your terrace and the rooftop breakfast spot! Surrounded by rice fields, and with the waterfalls and the monkey forest close by, the location ist a definite 10/10. At first, there was an issue with my room, but the owner, Hermi, quickly sorted it out. I joined a fantastic tour with one of his friendly staff, Ameng, to Pergasingan Hill and the waterfalls (Kiu Kelep and Sendang Gile) – it was an amazing experience that I can highly recommend. Hermi also arranged my drive to Selong Belanak for a fair price, which made everything so convenient.

SwitzerlandThe staff and the owner of Fullmoon in Tetebatu were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was very warm and familiar, and we felt completely at ease. The food was excellent. The homestay is located on the edge of the rice fields, offering a beautiful view of the surrounding nature, which we really enjoyed. Fullmoon is perfectly situated for trips to waterfalls, rice terraces, and the Monkey Forest. The room was simply furnished but had everything we needed and was very clean. Overall, our stay was very pleasant, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home and to ensure we had an unforgettable experience. We can highly recommend Fullmoon and would definitely stay there again on our next visit to Tetebatu.

GermanyThe room smelled a little musty. But that wasn't really bad for us.
We had a wonderful and relaxed time here. Hermi is a really friendly host and you can easily hire a motorbike through him. The breakfast is solid and included in the price. We particularly liked the fact that we were so far away from everything and could therefore enjoy the peaceful idyll (So a motorbike is quite useful to get somewhere). We particularly enjoyed the tour through the rice fields and the Monkeyforrest with Rahul - he was a really great and friendly guide.

FranceMy friend and I were looking to visit the cultural parts of Lombok, particularly the Indonesian rice paddies. We were delighted with the welcome we received at the Fullmoon hotel. Hermi made us feel almost at home for 2 days, picked us up at Bangsal harbour and showed us around Central and North Lombok. A big thank you also to Raoul who prepared us some local dishes. I'd highly recommend this extraordinary experience if you're looking to avoid the tourist spots and be immersed in the culture of Lombok!

United KingdomA net screen over the door to stop bugs coming in would be an improvement, but you are in the middle of the jungle so there's only so much that can be done.
We had such a fantastic stay at this property. The host family were so welcoming and even invited us to a family wedding, lending us the local dress. The highlight of a month in Indonesia!

New ZealandNo negatives - few tips, though. Difficult to find, but the host is very available on WhatsApp to guide you in. Be aware that the local mosque is nearby, which will ensure you make an early start to your day.
Simple comfortable rooms in a remote community on the scenic southern slopes of Mt Rinjani. Host was so welcoming and friendly. Delicious breakfast and outstanding coffee served on a roof terrace above the rooms. Spectacular panoramic view from the terrace of the local landscape, including Mt Rinjani, if the clouds part. Walkable to the nearby Monkey Forest - which was fun. Options to tour the surrounding rice terraces/waterfalls were available but we had to move on. Absolutely recommend a stay here.

United KingdomThe location is amazing, amongst the rice terraces and next to the monkey forest, and it’s really peaceful. The highlight has to be the staff, they are so friendly and helpful, they really made us feel at home. On top of that they also cook all of the food from scratch. The chicken curry and fried noodles were delicious!! We would definitely come back and would recommend to anyone going to Tetebatu!

Czech RepublicThe way to the accomodation is challenging on scooter, but Hermi is helping if there is a problem with it.
We absolutely loved our stay! Hermi, the owner, was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. He gave us good advice what places worth visit, he cooked good dinner and breakfest for us, furthermore we spend fun time with him. The chilling under the stars on the terrace in the night and having breakfast with the most beautifull view on the ricefields and mountains in the morning made our stay very special. The location is perfect, you can go by walk to Monkey forest or to the waterfalls nearby. I highly recommend this place. We will be back for sure. Thank you for everything!

PolandThe mosques around are really noisy, but that's not something the host can change.
The place is located in the amazing area, the view for the whole valley and the Mount Rinjani, rice fields etc. You can sit on the common terrace and enjoy the view. The owner is really friendly, made us amazing banana pancakes for the breakfast and I also liked the room, it was very simple, but the bed was comfortable. There was no air-con, but there was a fan, and it was enough as in the night the temperature drops to probably around 19/21 degrees. Also, the owner was really helpful and arranged the tour with a local guide, we walked around about 5 hours, visited waterfalls, nice fields, monkey forest and it was soooo great! Totally recommend
