How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

We missed our transit flight and had to find a place at midnight in a place we knew nothing about. The place was very close to the airport and was open. We appreciated it very much. The cost is very low so for that we are happy with the establishment. It got decent sized bed and reasonably clean. No hot water shower. So I say for the price it is decent.

I was really looking forward to a hot shower after being smashed by waves on the boat. Unfortunately the shower was cold
Close to the airport. I got off the boat from Gili and needed somewhere close to the airport to shower, finish packing and get ready for my flight a couple hours later

You can’t walk directly to it - so it’s not that close. It’s easier to get a Grab or Gojek there
Value for money to rest when you have a connecting flight.

Hygiene was average, room size was small and washroom was also clean but could look better.
It was super close to the airport. We walked down to it. Perfect to spend just the night for rest before heading out the next morning.

Bathrooms are very old, but it's still okay.
Very convenient location as it's within walking distance from the airport. It's ticks the box if you arrive late at night and want an easy & affordable option.

The furniture was quite outdated and not very well decorated. For the price I don’t think you can really expect much more though.
Good location next to the airport. We booked last minute as we were stuck and they were very accommodating. Cheap price so good value for money.

The bathroom was disgusting. The sink was falling off the wall and I didn’t want to sit on the bed in case there were bugs

The toilet clearly hadn't been cleaned as I could see pee splashes. I didn't have a cover or sheet on my duvet, I was unsure whether I should've had one or not but it just looked like a raw blanket to me
Very close to the airport. 24 hour front desk so it was a very quick check in. Fine just to crash for a few hours

Seems un maintained hotel. The moment you enter the hotel and room, very smelly. Hence I tried to be outside and only came to room for a sleep. Nothing fancy to talk about

The shower head was a bit faulty and no hot water but in a climate like Bali I didnt mind that. There were a few cobwebs near the ceiling
It is exactly what we needed, we only wanted a place close to the airport to have a shower and rest up before our flight home and it was totally fine for that purpose. Dont expect anything amazing, rooms are small and facilities aren't great, the rooms aren't super clean but theyre clean enough. For the price I didnt mind at all. The bed was comfortable and it's right across from the airport. But having said that I have stayed in $5 rooms in India. If youre looking for a nice place this isn't it but I would totally stay there again as a pitstop before flying.

Not much time or effort has been put in to make the hotel a place you’d want to spend more than a night in and a short night at that. You get what you pay for at the end of the day.
Great location of the hotel. I walked from the airport 👌. Price was suitable to the quality of the hotel , I didn’t pay much so expectations where relative to this.
