We had no water, tea, or coffee in the room; there was a kettle and some sugar, but that was it. There are no shops in the immediate vercinity, so this was definitely not ideal. I couldn't find the man who'd checked us in to ask for any either, for the rest of our stay. There is no food or drinks available at the hotel at all. Not even cup noodles. It was so cold on the second night that I hardly slept at all. It was 6 degrees, and all we had was one blanket. Our room had an open vent to outside in the bathroom and no door between there and the room... it was just a shower curtain. This really wasn't OK! More bedding needs to be provided or a door, at least, needs to be attached to provide a little bit more insulation. There is no hot water at all! The best you can do is fill the bucket in the bathroom from the kettle and have a quick wash. At least one hot shower should be available, even if it is in a shared bathroom, separate to the en suites. No soap or toiletries are provided, which considering it is on the backpacking route is disappointing. This is the worst place we have stayed in during the whole of our tour of Java, at this price point, in terms of lack of amenities and the unavailability of staff to assist. It's such a shame as it has the potential to be great.

The view is outstanding, this is what you are paying for. It truly took my breath away. Its a great place to explore Bromo from. The rooms are very clean and the beds were comfortable.

The facility must be reviewed again by Booking.com , or just remove from vendor list

Bromo sunrise tour bus with guide gathered outside our room and started to talk very loud 1.30 at night so could not sleep. They left only 3am and did not be quiet even though I opened our room door and asked them to be quiet.

The location was good, easy to hike to King Kong hill in the morning. Room was simple but good - good value for money.

Probably the best accommodation in the Cemoro Lawang area, with an excellent view of Bromo

Entry to the area is not included in the price (35K/person). It was very cold at night, and there was only one blanket for two people. No WiFi.

A basic but clean room, equipped with a bed, a small table, a kettle, and a private bathroom with hot water. It has everything you need—except Wi-Fi. The accommodation appears to be relatively newly built, and parking is available right in front of the room. The view from the terrace is excellent, overlooking the caldera with Bromo and Batok. Communication is via WhatsApp, with the option to arrange tours and a jeep. It's a good base for trips to the Seruni viewpoint (and beyond), into the caldera, and to Bromo if you’re planning to explore on your own. It’s about a 1 km walk to the village of Cemoro Lawang for food—there’s nothing nearby the accommodation.
