This place was absolutely fantastic. The view is truly spectacular, and the location could not be better, right in front of a beautiful temple. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming, which made the stay feel warm and personal. Breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a special and memorable stay.

The area is quite a long way from anywhere; the more touristy areas are further down the hill. This didn't bother us at all, as we were there for the view, and to relax after doing the Mt Batur sunrise hike, and this was the perfect place to do this.

The views from this place were stunning. It felt very remote (in a good way) and not at all touristy in the area. Even getting to the cabins felt like an adventure. down a small lane and then down some steps down the mountainside. The staff were very friendly - and extremely strong; the women carried our luggage down seemingly effortlessly! The breakfasts were excellent, and plentiful. The cabins are also walkable to a couple of really good restaurants / cafes, also with amazing views.

The surroundings of the rooms were disappointing – there were ruins and rubbish around, and to get to the rooms you have to walk through private property and an unfinished part of the complex, which felt a bit messy and uninviting. It took away from the overall experience of the hotel. Also, the walls in what seemed like a fairly new room were already affected by damp and humidity, with visible stains and marks. Sadly, this seems to be a common issue in Bali.

The only drawback for this location is there is no real driveway, a moped can get further along the path but for the most part it is a roughly 150m walk along the laneway and down a slope/stairs to reach the room. As long as you do not have mobility issues this is not much of a problem as the amazing staff will gladly carry any luggage for you and will even take an order for a local restaurant and deliver the food to your room.

The view alone is worth at least a nights stay, being able to see Mt Batur, Mt Abang and Mt Agung in comfort is amazing. The room design has clearly been used with comfort and function in mind. Also the staff are super helpful, friendly and certainly made us feel welcome. We were lucky enough to stay here the night of a full moon and even more fortunate for it to be a clear night and were treated to the sight of the mountains in the moon's glow.

Beautiful, clean room with stunning views from the balcony. We were given fresh juice when we arrived, and the hosts were lovely and welcoming. When we checked out of the property at 6am, the hosts helped us with our luggage and made us breakfast to take away with us. Brilliant service and I hope to return. I recommend this beautiful property.

No fridge in the room to keep drinks cold ordered 4 Bintang thinking the would come in a bucket of ice due to no fridge but just given 4 warm Bintang. Then asked for a bucket of ice and the staff returned asap with it.

Great view from the room so long as the clouds stayed away but we missed the sun rise due to heavy cloud cover the staff were very friendly and helpful.

I have no complain at all. If there is something to improve, maybe the quality of the building. There is some seepage on the lower part of the wall. The waterproofing might be not strong enough.

There are only 6 rooms at this property. The access was not that easy as the alley to access this property is only one car wide. There is only one parking space for 1 car. And to access the cabin you need to exercise a bit. But. I promise.. this is totally worth it. Your room is directly facing the unearthly view of mount Batur, Abang and Agung. If the weather is nice, the sun will rise directly in front of you. The room is clean, with warm water, no Air Condition (you don’t need it), a fan, and no TV. Still, it is very enjoyable. The staffs are also very nice and will help you with your needs. I would like to recommend you accessing this property on foot, taxi, ride-share, or motorcycle.

Would have been a bonus to have mosquito net over the bed. Better signage to help locate access path to cabins would have helped. You need moderate fitness level to get down and up steep steps.

It is a little trek behind the temple and down a ramp and down several stairs. Im 50 and had no dramas at all. There is no TV but wifi was great for watching movies on your own device.

The cabin is very clean and near new. The staff are lovely and very friendly. Breakfast is amazing. The restaurants nearby particularly the 1 suggested in the room is absolutely fantastic. The views are simply amazing 👏 You access these cabins through a temple 🛕. It really was very different to what im used to. I really enjoyed it. It was cold at night but the host gave me an extra blanket and all was well. If you're looking for something a little different this is it. Its nearly like a homestay. I thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience 👌 Sunrise 🌅 each morning is a must do here on your own balcony.

I loved everything!

This hidden gem is an absolute MUST for anyone wanting to experience a magical Kintamani sunrise! We witnessed the most beautiful morning from the comfort of the bed and the balcony, watching the lights change colour and revealing the gorgeous mountains was an incredible experience we will never forget! The staff here are wonderful, they are so kind and helpful and did everything to make our short stay special, from offering to help us with our bags, to a welcome drink, recommendations for dinner and a truly delicious breakfast! I will be dreaming about the egg for days to come. The room is clean, spacious and comfortable. It was a cool retreat from the heat outdoors. We arrived tired after a long day and left feeling well rested and truly refreshed. We could not have asked for a better stay and our only regret is not staying longer. If you are considering staying here, DO IT! It was the highlight of our Bali trip.
