The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, and we felt very warmly welcomed. The location is beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by nature, and perfect if you are being picked up for the Rinjani trek. Breakfast was not only delicious but also kindly prepared earlier for us, since we had to leave at 7 a.m. instead of the usual 8 a.m. – many thanks again for that! After our climb, they even washed and dried our dirty clothes within a single day. I can truly and wholeheartedly recommend this place! Many greetings from the Kara brothers.

Beautiful homestay with very nice people which can speak good English and are ready to help. Very close to the famous waterfalls and to many restaurants and cafes in Senaru. Tasty banana pancake for breakfast.

We absolutely loved this place! The place is new, clean and quiet. It also has a terrace with a view of mountain and rice terraces. You can see the sunrise from your bed. The breakfast and also lunch we had later on were both very tasty. The owners were really friendly and welcoming. We also went with Sum as our guide one day and we really enjoyed it.

A very awesome homestay with a lovely family and amazing food. The room was clean and the bathroom was very nice. There were some ants but that was absolutely fine. Everyone in the family was welcoming and they even offer tours to the waterfalls and Mount Rinjani. I did not use these offers but it is nice to know. This place is a 10/10 and I recommend it 100%.

It would have been nice to have a kettle for tea & coffee, but no problem there because the host provided us with what we needed.

Very nice host, great location near the waterfall; the host suggested a beautiful location to visit at Bukit Selong which had an amazing viewpoint after a 10 minute hike. The strawberry farms nearby sold delicious strawberries & we also got to buy some fresh vegetables from the farms sellers. Wonderful experience for the kids. This place is ideal for those with a car.

We loved our stay here. The owners are some of the sweetest people we have met travelling across Asia in the past 5 months. They speak fantastic English, cook fantastic food, have a very kind and sweet family, have very cute cats and helped us book a last minute Rinjani trek! They even provided us with head lamps and gloves for the trek free of charge. The room is basic, but has everything you need. The bed is comfortable, and there is plenty of hot water. And anyone complaining when the price point is so low is frankly delusional in my opinion. This place is fantastic. Thanks for an amazing stay!

The Homestay is beautiful and the staff is really nice and friendly. Their restaurant offers a variety of delicious Indonesian food (including some Lombok specialties). The rooms are spacious and very clean, with a terrasse. The Homestay is not very far from the Waterfalls but it's better to have a scooter if you want to explore the surroundings. Really recommended place 😃 Thank you Rani and team for everything 😃

I stayed at Tatasya Homestay in Senaru and they were incredible from start to finish. They helped me plan and execute my Mount Rinjani trek and made everything smooth and stress-free. They held my bags while I hiked, arranged a car ride to Kuta after my trek, and even welcomed me back with fresh coconuts. After the hike, they let me shower and rest in a room before heading out, which was such a blessing after three days in the mountains. The hospitality here is top-notch, super warm, helpful, and kind people. That alone makes this place worth staying at. One small downside was that they didn’t mention the hot springs wouldn’t be hot because the lake was too high during rainy season. Also, I did the 3-day/2-night trek, and while it was beautiful, it was pretty brutal. On the second day, you summit at sunrise, hike down to the lake, then up the other side of the crater, it’s a really tough push. I’m not sure the extra day is worth it unless you’re super set on seeing the lake. If you're looking for value and a challenging but more manageable hike, the 2-day/1-night trek might be the better choice. Overall though, I 100% recommend Tatasya Homestay if you're heading to Rinjani. They took such good care of me, and I’m grateful for everything they did.

We highly recommend staying at Adi and Rani's Homestay, they are both unbelievable hosts, and make you feel very welcome from the first instant on. Adi's knowledge and experience of Mount Rinjani is a great plus particularly if you want to do the hiking during your stay, as he can explain everything in detail. On top of that you can also directly book with them and even pay with credit card, which is also a big plus.

- Have to ask for a code for the WiFi every 4hrs - Welcome wasn't as warm as the other reviews seem to have found but perfectly fine - Basic accommodation with fan (no A/C), gaps in door frame meaning bugs can get inside (but no major bug issues) and only one plug socket in room in an awkward place to charge items. But perfectly fine for a short stay in Senaru.
