Far away from the city, a quiet romantic place up in the mountain. If you stay there try to catch the sunset at the sunset view restaurant just down the road, probably the most amazing look out in the island

We loved our experience, the location was remote and peaceful, making it the perfect place to start our holiday. It wasn’t too busy, which made it easy to relax and unwind. We really appreciated the helpful advice and recommendations during our stay, and it was great having easy access to the Yellow Bridge to across to Lembongan Island. If you’re staying here, you must visit The View Bar it’s just a 5-minute walk away and absolutely worth it!

Beautiful quiet location on the top of the hill in Ceningan. Ocean views, lovely spot amongst the villagers. Small complex with attentive staff and peaceful surrounds.

It was faultless.

SUCH a beautiful place!! The accommodation was amazing, such a comfy bed, air con, a wonderful view to catch the sunrise/sunsets and a TV if you wish to watch. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I'm not confident driving a scooter and they literally took me everywhere, and even called to pick me up in the evening after dinner one evening. It's quite a way up the hill but the views are stunning and it's no time at all on a scooter. Delicious food too. I'd really recommend this to anyone staying at Lembongan. Really friendly hosts. The villas are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The bathrooms are large with good showers. The pool is amazing with a lovely view out to the sea. The pancakes in the morning are great too!

We enjoyed our stay a lot, family run, with excellent rooms and facilities on top of the hill with a great view. Komang looked after us very well and was very kind and attentive. He picked us up from the yellow bridge and drove us to the accommodation. The bed is super comfy and the mosquito nets on the bed are great, the toilet is very spacious and the pool has great sun loungers and a view.

Not their fault at all, just a small note to people stating in the future: There are no ATM’s on Ceningan, so withdraw cash beforehand. The hotel has a car that can drive you anywhere on Ceningan for 100k, and you can also rent scooters there, but also a note there, is the roads not being in the best condition.

In every way an amazing place with a GORGEOUS view over the sea! If you want a place to relax and also away from all the city noise, we HIGHLY recommend coming here. The personal are so sweet and very quick at providing any service asked. They don’t have laundry washing at the place, but reccomended a place for us that was great. We also saw them help other guests get in contact with food services or other people which was really nice. Every day our room would be made up, and we would have a bottle of water put in the room. There is great space in the room and bathroom. The pool is amazing at a really nice temperature, and somehow made your hair feel smooth after(?)🤩 The food at the hotel is also really good, and it’s just great to enjoy it with a view at sunset🥰 They are also generally quick at answering on WhatsApp, so you can always get a hold of them if you need pickup to the hotel after a day out. Beware that as mentioned, this is out of the city and further into the landscape, which means you can expect to soooometimes encounter bigger animals like Gekkos. However, all we experienced was sightings of them, so no need to be scared. We found it cool so we liked it 😎 Also, there is a (CUTE) dog roaming around named Coco🥹😍 All in all: Just book it, it’s great!!

The stay was great from the start, with the accommodation organising our boat ride and taxi from Sanur harbour. The owner then picked us up from the yellow bridge and took us to the property. This property was great, with a personal lodge for each guest, overlooking a pool which had a great seating area including a hammock and some swinging chairs. The pool area was enjoyable and directly in the sun, which we loved. We enjoyed some food at the hotel when we arrived. The staff were extremely helpful with anything and everything. As the hotel is situated at the top of the hill, the owners of the hotel happily helped by driving us to the nearby restaurants/bars which we really appreciated. We were also able to hire a scooter from this property which was a help as we could easily travel around the island and drive over to Nusa Lembongan too. The staff were so helpful, helping with sending some of our laundry off to be washed and ironed (for a small fee.) Nothing was too much for the lovely people who own this property. The actual lodge was clean and equipped with necessities including tea, coffee and water. They also had a smart TV, which was nice of a night time. We really enjoyed our stay here and loved that the staff could organise trips out to Nusa Penida, watersports etc. We felt so stress free during our stay as the owners had everything covered and we couldn’t thank them enough. On leaving, the hotel organised our taxi and boat back to Sanur which again was really helpful and took away any stress from ourselves. We throughly enjoyed our stay here and we hope to come back again in the future!!

Spent three beautiful nights in Tatak Bunut Villa, which offers cozy bungalows and an incredible view on Ceningan. Ideal if you can rent a scooter as it can be a bit isolated but the Gede was super helpful in driving us around when we needed !

The road up to the villas is very bumpy and unless you have a motorbike and skilled at riding one, you will struggle to get up and down. Taxis do take you up but it is a bit of a hairy ride. Staff are happy to drop you off on their motorbike.

The cabin was so spacious and spotlessly clean. Beautiful bathrooms with a great shower. Sparkling pool and lovely view. The bed was so comfortable. The omelet for breakfast was one of the best I have had. Great value for money.

The wifi was unstable but could be because of the weather that wasn’t great during our stay. A bit far from any warung/restaurant if you don’t have a scooter but if you do, you can reach the restaurant areas in less than 5 mins.

You’re on top of the hill which gives you a very nice view on the ocean. Very peaceful and quiet, rooms are clean and well maintained. The swimming pool is nice and the staff maintain it clean. Staff is also very kind and friendly.

The road to get there is messy

Nice place, the bungalow is comfortable, except for the bathroom that gets flooded when you take a shower (no slope). The bed is very comfortable, and the AC was welcome as it was very hot. Staff is friendly, so I would recommend it, just know it is far from everything.

The accommodation is located on a higher elevation compared to sea level, and reaching it required riding a scooter up a rough dirt road. However, it was also possible to get there on foot if preferred. The property is situated on Nusa Ceningan, and renting a scooter is a great option to explore the island or to cross the Yellow Bridge, which connects Ceningan to Nusa Lembongan for further exploration.

The host was absolutely wonderful! It was a very friendly and welcoming family. The accommodation was spotless, and every time we went out, they cleaned our room meticulously. The entire property was very well-maintained, and the staff was always ready to assist with anything we needed. During our stay, we rented a scooter directly from the property, which was incredibly convenient. Additionally, when I needed help with my tickets and transportation, they were more than willing to assist. Overall, an exceptional experience, and I would highly recommend this place!

Scooter access required if you have a lot of travelling planned, it's a long walk from yellow bridge. Scooter hire available from Villa and staff happy to help with organising taxi service.

Super helpful staff made our trip a breeze. A little off the beaten track makes it nice and quiet with a good view of the ocean from the villas. Scooter rental available and staff always happy to oblige requests for transport and information about the area. Had a great time!

The approach road is quite bad

This place is so so good. I regret booking it only for a night. The place is really really clean, and the manager and his family is so warm and welcoming. They serve really yummy food and l would really recommend you to eat here if you are staying here. They even gave us lots of mangoes to eat as it was mango season when we visited. The place is quite close to yellow bridge

In the bathroom some mice were leaving droppings from the roof. Nothing much can be done about that and they did clean it in the mornings.

Beautiful pool! Lovely family very accommodating with delightful food. Very remote and quiet. The family assist with transport. We love the chicken curry!!
