How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The pillows were not comfortable. There was a lot of mosquito, a net would be helpful.
The location is really good. The garden and the pool are really beutiful. The breakfast was quite good.

Curtains are not blackout so if you are sensitive about light you will need eye bands. Check the photos to have an idea. Staff is really nice and polite but they start working at 7am and they are not quite in the early morning, pulling/pushing chairs, talking loud between them. They even turned the tv on at the lounge which was right next to my room and was really frustrating, needed some sleep in the morning
Location was good, on one of the main roads but not too busy one. Room was comfortable, shower worked good with hot water. Hotel is very compact and cute. They also also offer coffee and tea all day, you can prepare yourself. Breakfast was great.

The construction next door was very noisy Needs a couple more sun lounge chairs around the pool
Daily room cleaning and daily included breakfast which was delicious. Pool facilities were nice too

A small amount of noise from the building work next door but from 8am.
The room was comfortable and very clean and the pool area was lovely. The staff were all brilliant and helpful.. breakfast was lovely and the accommodation is fantastic value for money. The location is a short walk to the main road and 10 minute walk to the beach.

Construction next to the property loudly happening all day but was fine at night.
Comfortable and clean rooms. Great location. Breakfast was really good. Staff were lovely and accommodating.

The rooms are a bit dark and outdated. Same for the bathroom.
The staff is very helpful and kind. The breakfast facilities are great, enough options and good service. The pools are maintained properly. The garden is very well kept and looks nice. The location is great! Very walkable to everything you'd wanna visit. Also felt very safe in the neighborhood.

The bathroom a bit smelly due to plumbing? Construction also a bit annoying but if you're out during the day it's not too bad
The room was fine - Staff were really friendly, the grounds themselves were lovely and the included breakfast was great! Excellent location as well.

Our stay was really great, the position of the lodge is perfectly near the beaches, restaurants, lots of shops and bars. By renting a motorcycle you can visit the surroundings. The staff was always available and nice giving us the higher comfort possible.

If you’re traveling solo and not much of a planner like me and just plan to go with the flow, this is definitely a good place to stay. I booked it last minute and it turned out a great great choice. They provide airport pick up and Komang was very helpful in advising to get a SIM card and exchange currency outside the airport and took me to trusted places with good deals. The room, the pool and the overall place is very pleasant and within walking distance to many points. I only stayed for 2 nights to kinda settle and then get on with the trip to Gili T and I recommend getting the deal at the reception to be worry free about taking the fast ferry. The staff is very very friendly and genuinely helpful, they packed my breakfast to go at 6:30 am to leave for the ferry. I felt comfortable and can only recommend :)

Beds not super comfortable, bathroom had a strange smell a few times & the neighbourhood dog woke us up most mornings.

A fair bit away from the beach, and you didn’t get all that much breakfast, WiFi was fine. Overall, nice place but the value pr dollar isn’t too great
