Very quiet, beautiful view, nice garden. Clean bungalows. The family that runs the place is lovely. At first it seems remote but it’s only a 5min walk to the beach. Really recommend this place.

This is a lovely small place owned by Balinese. We hired a buggy and Gede came with us to show us around the island. We had the most amazing baby guling.

The bed was ok but not super comfy. Although good value for the money.

The staff was extremely attentive. They helped with everything. Perhaps the attention was a bit too much and some guests might find that a little bit invasive, but I know they did everything with the best intention.

The owners went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Checking in on us for what we want for breakfast and even gave us lifts when he saw us walking in the sun on the streets!

My sister and I stayed for seven nights, and we enjoyed it so much. The family who runs the place is incredibly kind and hospitable, and whenever there is a small issue, it gets fixed within two minutes. We give our highest recommendations. The location is beautiful, with a stunning view of the ocean, and it’s peaceful and quiet. The breakfast is simple but good. I hurt my toe quite badly, and Gedé, who runs the place, took care of it so well that I didn’t feel any pain afterward. That man has a special talent! A huge thank you for a fantastic stay at Sunset Hill—you have our warmest recommendations!

The whole thing was amazing, love the quietness of the place, the views and surroundings and the family that run it, the whole experience was excellent, I stayed 8 days and felt at home.

We hated having to leave.

We loved everything. From the very first contact we immediately felt welcomed. My son lost his backpack on the speedboat to Lembongan and the owner did everything he could to get it back. We felt we were taken care of with extreme kindness and genuine willingness to help us. The place was amazing: perfect location on a secluded hill, in the middle of nature. The small rooms/cottages were simple, comfortable, very clean and blended perfectly with the surrounding nature. Breakfast was prepared for us at the moment we sat on the balcony. We felt treated like family, which is priceless.

It is very hot in the wooden house. The air conditioner does not cope. Bad and slowly Wifi. A crazy road to Sunset hill.

The entrance could be mentioned from the nearby road side, to give directions. In future they could (and most probably will) expand with a pool and some more landscaping, plants and trees. For the rest, a very pleasant stay at a beautiful location.

The room is newly built, has a nice comfortable bed, a good functioning airco, desk, television, a cupboard and a large mirror. The semi-open bathroom is cosy with plants, hot water and good ventilation. Atuh beach and Diamond beach are nearby, within 20-30 mins by scooter. You can also go fishing with Kocoel, the manager/ owner, who was very welcoming with a cold fresh coconut. Breakfast was included. There is also an option for lunch and dinner. I felt very safe during my stay. The owner responded quickly via booking-chat and does speak proper english. The direct environment is very calm, no traffic sounds. The entrance is via the road that starts/ends with I. Made Jana (see on Google maps) and from there +/- 2 mins driving to the southwest, uphill. For nearby restaurants you go to the north east coast, several places within 15 mins.

Though no problem for us, others may not be confident to ride a scooter up the hill due to pot holes. However taxis are abundant and many restaurants do a free pick up/drop off service.

Beautiful location, comfy beds, spacious bathroom, good AC, daily housekeeping, lovely pool, good breakfast, staff very kind and helpful with organising activities and laundry.

The only thing to be prepared for is the rooster that lives in the neighbourhood and welcomes the sun with his crowing from 3.30 am. Each accommodation had earplugs which worked well, maybe for better comfort bring your own (nice and soft ones, that fit your ears perfectly).

Sunset Hill was nice and quiet. Away from scooters and streets hustle and bustle but still close (walking distance) from restaurants, cafes, massage ocean). The views were absolutely spectacular and the pool in a great position to enjoy the view from there. The owners were beautiful, kind and helpful. Place was really clean.

There’s a farm next door so cockerels were a little loud at night - bring some ear plugs!

Gede was an outstanding host who went above and beyond to help us. It’s a stunning, tranquil spot with the most beautiful view especially at sunset time. The pool is gorgeous and you can walk to restaurants, beaches etc within 10 minutes. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Amazing sunset views, organised an epic private snorkel trip where we saw the giant manta rays! Had a small issue with the aircon leaking but fixed asap, road to the hotel is pretty rough but that’s the island life!

The place is just perfect. You really are in nature, among local houses around. Sunset Hill is so (so) quiet ! A peaceful place to stay, where the view offers you a beautiful sunset everyday. I was glad to see that every tourist there respected the calm and the silence of the place, which made our stay even more relaxing. The pool was really clean and functional, the bungalow was great with good air conditioning, clean sheets, good isolation, mosquito net and a mini bar. The breakfast was great and ready every morning, and the owners also have a fridge refilled everyday where you can have a few drinks. You can find some really good restaurants 8-10 minutes walking from there. A last word about the owners : they were so adorable. They have done everything to make things easier for us, and they helped us for many things. We owe them a lot, and we will be glad to come back one day. Suksma for everything. 🙏
