I liked everything about the hotel. I'm just sad that a mega hotel is being built so close by. No consideration.

Even though there were construction works occurring in front of the hotel, we still had a lovely view. Especially from the restaurant. The pool was beautiful and a wonderful way to end the day. The breakfast was generous with lots of choices. Great A/C.

The breakfast was expensive and ok, but not worth the price. We had much better breakfasts in Labuan Bajo in other hotels and we were quite disappointed. Also the location is remote and it is rather necessary to use the taxi, as there is no pavement to walk in some parts and is 30 minutes walk. The taxis are quite expensive for the distance and there is no Grab for cars, only motorbikes.

The location used to be spectacular, but unfortunately there is another hotel being built in from of this one, which was a huge disappointment for us. Unfortunately, it partially covers the view and also in was disturbing for us with the notices from the building area.

Half of the hotel don’t have the view anymore because of new building in construction just in front They build this new hotel from 7am to 8pm so their is a lot of noise !

Booked this hotel for the view however due to new hotel construction in front of this hotel, the seaview was partially blocked by the new building and It made me sad

The view was very good but sadly now the left side is obscured by a giant new hotel which has at least 2 years building left. Very kindly we got free breakfast because of the noise from 7am- 8pm. The rooms are tired and basic.

The price point was great. The rooftop is nice after 8 pm with views of the sea. You can have dinner and breakfast with a great view once the building work opposite has stopped.

A construction is under progress just in front of them... so the view is not anymore an attraction point.

Family room quite confortable. Nice hotel and very convenient for moving to the airport (Free shuttle to airport). Swimming pool to refresh and a nice view for sunset. I recommend this hotel for last night prior departure to airport.

The shower goes hot and cold. No kettle in room. Construction site. I do feel bad for the staff having to listen to the noise all day.

The view is stunning, the sunset just spectacular and the best I've seen. Friendly staff. . The room was big, clean and there was water every day. The balcony nice. View from there unreal. If it wasn't for the view I don't think I'd stay again due to construction site.

Quite far from town, had to get a taxi to go anywhere or 30min hilly hot walk into town. Staff didn’t pay attention to bills, kept putting items on wrong room numbers

The doors are very thin and you hear the elevator constantly. The mechanism from the terrace doors were damaged and very difficult to operate. Toilet hot water could be improved.

The view from the room is amazing. Top! The swimming pool and resto in 6th floor are great. Super kind staff. Breakfast was also quite good. And it has an elevator. Thats a big plus. Room was huge and confortable.

The bed was a little too hard and the sheets were a polyester cotton mix and seemed pretty old . There was no kettle in the room and the balcony was overlooking the building work below.

Loved the restaurant and pool on the top floor .. sunsets were awesome from up there these were the hotels redeeming features.The room was basic and had a balcony .

The major construction going on directly in front of the hotel. They are currently in the process of building a Crown Plaza directly in front of Sunset Hill. Huge crains and a major job. If you are going with the intentions of relaxing you might take precautions that the major development happening directly in front of the hotel which will eventually block all of the views that they currently have which are absolutely amazing.

The staff was extremely helpful. Unfortunately I had finally got to take a holiday and was excited to get there and relax by the pool however it was under construction and it should have been explained before booking. It was major construction, not just something simple like maintenance. That would have been nice to know prior to booking. Again, the Staff were absolutely helpful and professional.

The hotel is outdated. The glass balcony in our room was broken, and they only fixed it with tape. I don't feel safe because I have a small child with me. The curtain is also very old and should be replaced. The safety box is not wall-mounted, so anyone could take it.

This hotel has the perfect view for sunset. It's really beautiful just to sit on the balcony and look at the ocean view. Really recommended for budget hotel.

1. Hotel has great potential with amazing view but generally poorly maintained, run down and old. 2.Water pressure on the 5th floor (Rm 22) is too low for a decent shower. Hot water runs out after 1 min. Aircon is ok. 3. Need to climb 1 floor steep stairs to lobby. Not suitable for elderly or wheelchair. 4. There is a very small wobbly lift (approx 1 sqm fr Lvl 1 to 6) that feels scary. The escape hillside steps by side of building can be improved for safety reason. (a big deterrent) 5. New construction opp road may partially block pano view in near future. 6. Concrete planters on balcony with dying plants unfortunately blocked the view while chilling on bean bags. 7. No black out curtains n uncomfortable chairs 8. Little amenities n no convenience store or eatery nearby. No coffee or tea maker.

1. Best iconic LB sunset view - facing the sea n and the "beautiful" 5-star TaAkana (which has wrong orientation for most rooms) 😅 2. Good room size and comfy beds

The Hotel is quite old overall and in our room, the shower barely worked (no water pressure and the shower head was calcified that almost no water came through). The toilet also had some issues and didn’t flush every time.

The view from the balcony to the ocean was stunning, beautiful point for sunsets.

so many centipedes arround even insinde the bedroom you need to take out the hotel needs to do termit regular at least to reduce the centipedes you will always step in centipedes when you walk into the lobby area and parking area

the view is amazing but there is construction just front of the hotel so sometimes the workers still work till nite at 9 pm . Hotel staffs are amazing and friendly but the ameneties are too old like towel and also bed linen

there were some insects crawling on the floor.

Its quite a good location, not too far nor too close to the central area. the view at the balcony is phenomenal during sunset.
