I have been here long time ago and while I appreciate that everything is almost still the same , I noticed that the wall fountain is not working anymore and the kitchen is clean, but is lacking the tools to prepare a basic meal. Last but not least a microwave would be very useful.

Sanur is still my preferred place to stay in Bali, so lovely underrated : with an accessible beach, close to any attractions but very calm and peaceful. Sunhouse is embodying the spirit of Sanur simple and underrated but with everything I need to enjoy my holiday in Bali.

Hot water was not avaiable but owner gave us some buckets of heated water from the kitchen ❤️ They also give some money back and apologize for the problem

Some road noise as it is on a corner, go for the larger room with more natural light, if that's a priority, but other than that very satisfying all round.

Pool was lovely, staff were amazing, felt like family, close to beach and warungs/shops, self help kitchen was a bonus, with free filtered water available, felt safe, bed was super comfortable, lovely and clean room, Aircon worked well, shirt was nice and hot, loved the uniqueness of the buildings/room, great value.

It has a fridge, which could have been a bit cleaner. A basic bathroom, which was not the best but okay. My shower did not produce hot water, but my friends' his did. (I had the Lotus)

The location is good, close to the beach and restaurants. It is a nice small guesthouse with very friendly people, you can use the kitchen for making coffee or tea, and get yourself water from the big container. The room was nice, good bed, clean and good bedsheets. Netflix with an account from the guesthouse which you can use.

Basic accommodation but location & privacy was great.Close to the beach, shops & restaurants. All within walking distance, or you could use one of the bicycles that are at the property. Enjoyed our stay for 2 nights

Lovely location close to Mertasari beach. Pool refreshing and comfortable table aeeas to relax after a day out. The ladies looking after the guesthouse were very welcoming.

The grab driver locked us out. The host stayed with me while he got help. She also got my bike ready and it was free! Filtered water. Warm shower. Comfy bed. Great location. Solid price.

Usually traffic was not loud but sometimes some motor cycle with loud engine was bothersome.

All was fine. Nothing bothered me about the Sunhouse Guesthouse over the five nights I stayed there. I am a comfortable Westerner on holiday in a country where people cannot afford to go on an overseas holiday of the type I enjoyed in Sanur and Bali last week. Therefore, I do not have sound, justifiable or reasonable grounds for complaint. However, one male was talking loudly for almost five minutes in the kitchen area one morning at four o'clock. Access into the property was unlocked and very easy, and is therefore a potential danger to visitors.

Helpful staff members who easily answered my questions about the location of facilities and services. Staff were always readily available on location to answer my questions that enabled me to access what I wanted. e.g., a tailor service, laundry, restaurants, places of interest to see in the neighbourhood. Niken and Nitik were always willing to provide information, advice and assistance, and did so easily, throughout the duration of my stay. I was very grateful I was given the upstairs room for the final two night of my stay. This was done generously at no extra charge to myself.

The bed was like a brick, really struggled to sleep, my husband thought the bed was ok though. For some reason I believed it to be closer to the beach than it was, so my expectation was a little thrown - though perhaps my misunderstanding. Room was incredibly small, no room to have suitcases open, or space around the bed. The door was also very small to get in through - my husband is 6ft2in.

Room was 'quaint'. Cleaned everyday. Had a nice traditional feel to it.

Room was close to the road so a bit noisy. Pool was very hot as it had little shade.

Bed was quite hard.

Perfect location as I wanted to surf everyday and the boats left from Mertasari beach. Simple, small, quiet, local end of Sanur. Clean accommodation and kind staff.
