How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Superb value for money if you are a solo traveller and expect to roam/ explore for most part of the day. Even otherwise, the ambience of the hostel allows for good common areas, a plunge pool, a small cafe. Bonus: There is a nice pizza joint right next door that stays open late in the night.

The people who works there were so nice and super friendly. Always happy to help! Loved every minute of it. The hostel was super clean and comfortable.

In this time, especially in Bali, where there is a trash epidemic and plastic is everywhere, this hotel could provide drinking water and encourage guests to use refillable bottles instead of buying water in plastic bottles for one time use. Other places in Bali have started this, and it should be so everywhere. If you promote this practice, I think more people will want to stay here and participate and it makes less trash for your business and less trash in general.
Everyone is very sweet. They go above and beyond to greet you by name everytime you enter it leave.

Nothing really.
Very near Seminyak centre but much quieter than busy streets. Walking distance from everywhere. The absolute difference is the created by the managers Raka, Feli and especially Dipa. They are the most warming and helpful people in all Bali. Thanks. I'll be back!

Had a great time — the experience exceeded expectations and was definitely worth the money. Bathrooms were clean and well-maintained, though the furnishings could use a bit of an upgrade. Overall, one of the best experiences we’ve had for the price paid.

Property is good .. but its not kind of hostel hostel... they dont even has free water in Bali.. Singapore being most expensive city offers free RO water but this property charges for the water and they ask money first and then give water .. so that was kind of rude

The water pressure in the sink wasn't great.
The staff was extremely friendly. I loved them all. The location was very good. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean.

The hair dryer wasnt functional when I came, will be good if I can use them :) not really close to the beach but if you like to walk I think it is still in a walking distance. The dorm with many beds, expect someone snoring and some people talking at night, prepare your earbuds if you don't feel comfortable with noises before bed.
The hosts were wonderful, full of smiles and informative ♡ They clean the room regularly eventho you don't ask them, as long as you're not in the dorm, your bed will be cleaned ♡ a good place to socialize. Common areas are divided into room with ac and smoking room.

As per usual the inconsiderate guests that talk on their phones in the rooms. And the nocturnal guests that have pool parties at 0200 doing "bomb" dives that send a massive thumping sound thru the whole building.... Also, none of the showers are plugged in so none are hot. Paying this per night you really expect to be able to have a hot shower if you time it right.
The staff are very nice. The beds are super comfortable with good electric and light. The wifi is good.

A girl took my new sandal and left me with her broken one, even though they’re not even the same color.😢
The staff were exceptionally welcoming and friendly, going out of their way to make my stay as comfortable as possible. The room was spotless and well-maintained

The showers and toilets were dated and there wasn’t hot water, just warm. And the toilets were downstairs but the dorms on the second floor, so at night it was a little inconvenient to go to the toilet.
The beds were comfy and the dorm was clean and the welcome from the staff was amazing. They were really, really positive and smily. They gave a complimentary tea on the arrival and every morning you could get a free coffee or tea.

Pool in the sun would’ve been amazing!
Really lovely staff who made the effort to learn your names and help you out with anything. Toilets were cleaned very often- bin never full and paper always changed. 24hr pool is cool and beds were very comfy with amazing storage for each person.
