Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThere's nothing I can say that's negative. It's amazing
Everything about Soulshine is beautiful, such a peaceful setting, lovely food, great yoga classes every morning. Very well organised and run, staff are friendly and very attentive. Very clean and secure. Not far from the centre of Ubud. A beautiful piece of paradise 🩵

GermanyThis is a spectacular hotel! The staff is extremely welcoming and kind. The setting of the hotel is wonderful, everything is lush and green, the pools are awesome, the breakfast is exceptional (the bread alone is sensational), as is the food in general. Food prices are modest, in particular in view of the quality. There is a wonderful vibe in this hotel, it is not just that the staff are kind, the vibe is easygoing and relaxed and everyone is lighthearted (while a the same time very professional). Overall a fantastic stay, I would return in a heartbeat.

ChinaGreat hotel and we can highly recommend it. Love the dedication for the food, rooms are nice and spacious with an amazing view (panorama room). We enjoyed the Yoga session in the morning as also the cocktail in the evening with sunset and DJ and live music on weekends. The distance to the city didn’t bother us (we knew it), to get a grab taxi wasn’t a problem at anytime.

JapanHere is all about good vibes only! There’s good music, good food, a great atmosphere, and wonderful people. This place is so much more than just somewhere to sleep — it’s a space that hugs you. I’m deeply grateful for always being welcomed back with the words, “Welcome home.”🩷 Special thanks to Sila, Dinar, Intan, and Devi for creating such a heartfelt welcome and taking care of me during my stay. And to the SPA team Hana, Mini, and Ayu — thank you. Because of you, my spa time is always filled with happiness and healing. I love this place!

United Arab Emirates- I didn’t like the fact that you can’t get in touch with the staff ( reception, housekeeping, room service,…) only by the application which doesn’t work most of the time or they don’t reply to it! It should be a phone in the room in case of emergency or anything! - its over priced
I liked this place it’s very nice The design, the food, the room was very nice

AustraliaThe journey to central Ubud can become tiring due to traffic. All told it can take up to an hour or more during heavy traffic in a car. Suggest travelling via motorcycle if you’re comfortable with this option. The internet connection was sketchy at times and buffering issues were common. Can get loud with kids running around in the common areas. There are other resorts in Jimbaran Bay and Uluwatu at a similar price point which offer a superior experience.
The free morning yoga classes were a real treat. Imagine stepping into a serene elevated rooftop room, its design inspired by traditional Balinese architecture. The space feels open and expansive, with wide, open windows on all sides, creating a space that feels sacred and peaceful. The various dining options at the restaurant were really good (and healthy) with a special call out for the breakfast smoothie bowl. The spa facility was also a really nice space, with options aplenty for choosing a suitable treatment.

Very nice place, beautiful, calm and with great staff. Room and facilities are new, I Love rooms design and overall design of the hotel. Breakfast is great as well. I arrived at 3pm and staff put a diner to my room, that was so lovely, rarely meet in big hotels, that made my visit special right from the beginning.

United KingdomThe only slight let down, for me was the evening food, breakfast was incredible (a great array of fresh fruit and main dishes) but I would have wanted the main lunch and dinner menus to have been slightly more Balinese influenced and less western. Perhaps also a different menu from lunch to dinner. However everything I did eat (chicken Bao buns, smoothies, fried cauliflower, Mie Goring, Seared Tuen) were all delicious. It's a really minor detail considering your surroundings and also you can eat out in Ubud.
Everything exceeded my expectations, the room was stunning, the soft furnishings really added a great touch. It was also a huge room, much larger than I thought it would be with an incredible view over the rice fields. Super comfy bed, with a seating area and the chair swing on the balcony. The coffee machine and record player were fantastic additions as were the turndown service complete with bedtime treats and local story. Plus the fast kettle and water bottles (with water fountain outside the room for refills). Bathroom was amazing. A real luxury. Every detail had been thought of. The staff were incredible, a really nice touch is that they learn your name, something very small but makes you feel very welcomed. Special mentions to Dinda, Roy, Putu, Devi and Pranata in the restaurants and Ayu in the spa.

RomaniaEveryday they organized so many activities within the hotel and because of my busy schedule, I couldn't participate. There were painting workshops, cooking classes and so many nice activities. Hope to enjoy all of them next time!
The hotel was amazing, room was very big and very clean. The staff is very friendly and wiling to help whenever was needed. I have arrived around 11pm at the hotel and there was some fresh food as an welcome. In the next morning I had a birthday surprise, the staff started to sing happy birthday and welcomed me with chocolate cake, even if my birthday was 2 days ago. I really appreciated their kindness and I had a great start of holiday. Breakfast was very tasty, there is a menu from where you can choose a primary meal, besides that everyday I had fresh fruits, homemade jam and fresh basket with croissants and bread. For drinks there are so many types of coffee and tea from where you can choose, but for vegan milk or a matcha latte, there is an extra pay. The prices are affordable, but usually these should be included. Anyway this is not a negative comment, I just wanted to mention it. However I will suggest for more food options in the menu. Also, there is no phone in the room but the hotel has an application from where you can communicate with the reception, housekeeping, order room service or whatever you need. I found it very interesting and more helpful, especially that my requests were accomplished very fast. Overall, my stay was wonderful and for sure I will come back! I forgot to mention that I had one of my best massage ever!! ❤️❤️

AustraliaWe were just so surprised that the hotel serves alcohol and not soda drinks. only diet soda. more drink options would have been nice. i totally understand that its a healthy place but giving people options like white rice would be great. there is need for flexibility in terms of food because not everyone staying is on a healthy journey. we were there to enjoy.
enjoyed every minute. we loved the set up for our romantic dinner to celebrate our annivesary. it was absolutely amazing.
