Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

BelgiumBathroom was not clean, stains on the floor. One of the bed sheets had stains as well. Coffee has a special taste, it would be better to have regular coffee instead of herbal or anything. Also the paid coffee (latte, cappuccino,..) was not very good.
Sima hotel has 2 buildings, one seems to be older and another one more recent. There are 2 swimming pools with bar. For breakfast there’s a lot of choice: pastries, fresh fruit, yoghurt, bread, cheese, honey, nasi and other local dishes. Also pancakes & waffles, eggs any style. The hotel is located in a central place, with some noise from the street but this will be the case for all hotels in this area I guess. Also prayers around 5am. Many restaurants nearby, I recommend La Cuna restaurant 🤩 The rooms are pretty large and have a balcony with drying rack. The rooms have a fridge and airco.

ItalyNothing.
The property had all the amenities required and the atmosphere was extremely relaxing. The hotel helps you organize private trips to any of the places to see in Lombok. The staff were all lovely and welcoming. In particular we have to mention a great experience with Wildan, a guide with whom we had an amazing day at Pink Beach.

New ZealandRoom servicing kept coming at the end of the day when we were ready to shower and relax in our room.
Great location close to a huge selection of restaurants within walking distance. Local beach not great so we rented bikes to go to a surfing beach. The pools were smaller than we thought but lovely setting and clean.

United KingdomCould improve reception , it lets down the hotel which is really nice. The doors in the restaurant to the outside terrace need to be fixed, as you cant get through them if you have your hands full. Pillows on bed need to be thinner/ softer - woke with a crook neck.
Great Hotel. Great area, lovely pools and restaurant is excellent / Staff were great, especially the pool bar guy / Clean rooms.

SingaporeTowels are often stained. ( so I didnt use those) And you can actually hear other floors in the same block via toilet (its not fully enclosed), had been hearing other floor's party music at night but its 100% soundproof if you close the toilet door. It will be good if they put the towel standing rack in the balcony instead of toilet. It will be more convenient for guests to dry their swimwear after activities.
Locations is good - easily accessible and right on the main streets. Good restaurants/ cafe / marts are all within walkable distance. The breakfast buffet was good - with quite a few options ( more than I had expected actuallly). And they just opened the new restaurant with much bigger space. Spa is also pretty good. Pre- booking is recommended.

GermanyOverall, the hotel offers decent value for money, but it’s clearly showing its age. The rooms and furnishings are not quite up to the standard of other hotels in the same category. Room service during our stay was rather underwhelming — toilet paper was sometimes forgotten, towels were occasionally missing, and once the towels had a strong smell of smoke, so we had to request replacements. Breakfast focuses more on variety than on quality. It’s fine, but nothing special. The pool area, especially the one at the back, is very quiet and enjoyable. The location is excellent — everything can be reached easily on foot.

ThailandThis hotel was amazing! Right in the centre of Kuta, but so much space. There are two pools to relax by during the day and a pool side bar. The room was great, we had the top floor and a balcony which was great. The hotel offer airport transportation for a fee which was handy.

AustraliaWe couldn’t take the pool towels out of the hotel even thought they had our room number. Which made it difficult if you’re going on a tour or to the beach.
Breakfast was a good selection of food and the egg station was good. Happy hour at the pool was a nice touch. Lovely garden

United KingdomThe shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner seemed to be mixed up in the bottles—what was labelled as conditioner felt more like body wash, and there didn’t seem to be actual conditioner available, so a bit more attention to detail there would help. Breakfast, while tasty, can get quite busy, and because solo diners are sometimes seated at large tables, it can lead to a wait for seating even when tables appear available.
We stayed for two nights for our honeymoon and had a lovely time. The room was clean, well-equipped, and had a really nice open-air style wet room with a shower that felt outdoors but was still very private. Plenty of towels and thoughtful amenities. The location is perfect—right in the middle of Kuta, easy to walk to everything, and lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. The staff were super friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. The on-site spa is amazing—highly recommend the Lombok massage. There are two swimming pools: one with a shallow and deeper area, and another consistent-depth pool with a swim-up bar, which was a great place to relax. Breakfast had a good variety, including both Western and Indonesian options.

United KingdomIf you’re after a good nights sleep or have young kids please be weary of the call to prayer wake up at 5am every morning.
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The beds in the rooms were the comfiest I have ever slept in. There is work going on at the hotel we were made aware of prior to booking, but it will only make the hotel facilities better in extending the restaurant size.

United KingdomBreakfast had few savoury options, and it seemed quite a good amount of the savoury was the previous evenings leftovers. Not enough tables for everyone, so had to wait or be very early to get one for breakfast. But.... Worth it. Don't be put off, it was a great stay!
Fantastic location right in the center of town. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was good, comfy and clean with a great view of the hills. Lovely pool areas and we'll priced pool bar.

IrelandThe gym was a bit too small especially as the hotel got busier. Also there needs to be a few more sun loungers with so much grass space lots more could be put in.
The rooms were very nice, we stayed in the new building and the rooms were nicely decorated with a very comfortable bed. The location was perfect on Kuta main street close to lots of nice restaurants and cafes. We also really enjoyed the pool area, and spa. Breakfast was a good buffet selection

Hong KongThe buffet breakfast had a range of options with some change each day but the food itself was fairly average. There was an egg cooking station though, which was good. The daily room clean was just making the bed so the floors were quite sandy after a few days. A few times we had to ask for fresh towels as they forgot to replace the ones they took. But they were very quick to respond when this happened.
The two swimming pools were lovely and the location of the hotel is excellent. So many fantastic restaurants right outside. The massage at the hotel spa was really nice. Rooms quite spacious and the balconies were nice to sit out on. Not overly noisy despite central location.
