The property was great but I found the room fragrance a bit overpowering!

The property was well situated to Song Lonbongon beach and close to friends who were also in the area. Fantastic breakfast:)

All was very good!

I loved people here, helpful and friendly. The cottage looked very nice and the small terrace could be used for yoga/training along with the mats they have in each room. The bathroom is open but the sink is in closed room which I loved. Cleaning every day, breakfast was basic but enough. Swimming pool clean and the towels still smell very good after first use, comparing to other more expensive hotels we have been before. I would be back again🌸

Nothing much. There was the odd bit of gecko poo but we used the mosquito net and it didn't go on the bed.

Looked just like the photos. Set in what we called "viillage Lembongan" Staff lovely and friendly. Bed was comfortable, pool lovely. There are only 4 cottages, and there was never another person on the pool when I used it. Breakfast is substantial enough. Only a 5-7 minute walk to some very popular restaurants and mini marts. Despite what others say, yes, it is out of the way if you want the Ohana side of the area, but if you do, and you don't want to pay for transport, stay down that way. We loved the quietness and the fact that it was away from hassle and bussle. Yes there are roosters and chickens crowing and geckos in the room, but that didn't bother us. Staff organised our trip to Sanur for the same price as we could do it online.

Everything! Absolutely everything! Not only does this wonderful place look exactly like the photos but it also has such a unique beauty and feeling to it that I was just having a magical time my entire month of stay. I just feel like no amount of words can do it justice. Shrining Cottages are just wonderful!

Beautiful and quiet property, with outstanding hosts! The cottages, while a little rustic, are comfortable and have everything you need. I had the many good nights of sleep on that bed! Breakfast is simple but always very tasty and more than enough. Gede and Putu went above and beyond to make my stay that much more memorable, and Zula (designated security guard) always welcomed me with a wagging tail - it all was pretty special. Having an outdoor bathroom, I was also very lucky that I got to shower while looking up at the full moon one night during my stay! The only suggestion I would make is to have more shelf space for folded clothes. Everything else was great :)

Shrining Cottages was such a haven to stay at because of its quite location and the intimateness of there only being four rooms as well. However, what made our stay there even more enjoyable was the kindness and joy of Gede (the main staff member working/caretaking of the cottages), he was always there to help, offer advice on what to do or where to go, would always greet us and have a chat with us, he is absolutely wonderful and carrys the essence of the cottages. Also such a hard worker providing all of us breakfast, looking after the cottages, cleaning, and providing info, its incredible. Thankyou Gede!

Lots of mosquitoes in the room all the time. Every time we moved something mosquitoes would fly out of our bags and clothes etc…

The rooms were very spacious, bright and clean. The pool was very nice and most of the time we had it to ourselves. Breakfast was basic but good and the location was quiet but a short scooter ride to the town. There is a nice beach a short walk away.

We had a great time! The Cottage and the garden with the pool are beautiful and feels like an oasis. You have everything what you need. There is even a yoga mat in the room. The Owner is extremely friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed it and can definitely recommend it!

The WiFi was a bit spotty but I think that is just a part of being on the island :) location - probably more convenient to rent a scooter staying here but I did walk where I needed to go a lot of the time without much trouble.

I really enjoyed my stay at Shrining Cottages - the bungalows are so gorgeously designed and very comfortable. The garden and pool are also lovely to enjoy. Breakfast was exceptional and plenty. Very kind and dedicated staff who were always very helpful with anything I needed - scooter rental, laundry, recommendations, taxi etc. The location at first felt a bit out of the way but I soon learned that there was a lot around within walking distance - a really lovely beach just down the hill that also leads to a path into the town, and some good restaurants around the corner.

It would have been great to have a little map showing how to walk to different places like the beach. There is a lack of info on the island about how to get around if you don’t want to hire a bike.

Absolutely beautiful little cottage style rooms. Very clean and well maintained. The breakfast was lovely and generous. The staff were very friendly.

It is a very cute place with all you need. There was even two yoga mats and a beach bag. The bed is very comfortable. The internet is working very well! Everyone has its one little cottage with a bathroom outside - which means you might have some guests as gecos. The staff was very nice and supportive. we also lked the breakfast.

The only things I would mention is there is a lot of noise from birds, geckos etc early in the morning. I’m a light sleeper so needed to wear ear plugs for a decent sleep. Breakfast which is included hasn’t got many options but we didn’t really mind as we liked to try other places on the island.

The room was very cute and cosy, the facilities were great and there was even robes, slippers, a beach bag and yoga mat! We enjoyed the pool area and the staff were lovely, they even helped with taxis & bike rental.
