Surga suites is strategically located close to all the surf famous beaches, it's an ideal location for exploring Uluwatu. Our family room was comfortable for 4 people, well decorated and a step from the tropical garden. Great bonus point it is the Italian restaurant inside the surga suites, on the best I've tried in Bali. Super recommend!

The owners need to train the front of house probably, make sure food is excellent quality all the time and staff are attentive all the tine. Just need to be a little more professional.

This time they accommodate me in a room next to the boiler room or something. And at night, the sounds of some kind of communications can be heard loudly. Maybe a water column or something. I don't know, the sound is unpleasant, but I have earplugs, I slept fine.

Actually so nice view. In every guesthouses or homestays you could just viewing another doors. Here is mountains just a bit but you don't feel you are in hotel. You feel like you're in a country house. Boho style decor everywhere. More lovely than in the photos! So cozy. Friendly staff. That's a second time I've stayed here. Just thought "oh where I want to stay in bukit on this trip? Sure, Surga Homestay) My coffee cup is still here 🤍

It can be good or bad depending on what you looking for. Location is not perfect if you looking to spend time in the restaurant or any more lively area as you will need to go with a scooter for aprox 10-15min.

It’s like a hidden gem. Super quiet and clean. All small decorations and seating outside looks very beautiful. Everything feels very cozy and welcoming.

The location is not the best. You will have to go everywhere by scooter. Really everywhere, there is no way around it. Restaurants and other amenities around are scarce. I've spent quite a long time here and if you're sensitive to sounds, this is probably not the best place for you. In daytime, there were 3 simultaneous sources of noise during the entire time I've stayed here. There is a construction site right next to this property (constant angle grinders and hammers), there is a car workshop across the street (loud base music, angle grinders) and there is also aluminum roof / window construction being built directly at the home stay. To be fair, there are no issues with noise at night - so no issues with sleeping. Good luck with taking some quiet rest during the day, though. Some of the houses have issues with mold and poor air quality, some have no issues. It's really about luck. If you have the chance to have a look and choose which house you're gonna stay in, use that opportunity and look at the walls.

This place has a nice atmosphere to it, it's quiet at night. There is well equipped kitchen for cooking. I appreciated free water at your disposal 24/7. There is a pool. The decoration is nice and the place is generally clean. Overall I was pretty happy with my stay.

Shower was a bit impractical and had a hole in the roof above the shower. But that didn’t feel like a problem. We checked in late (10pm) struggled to find someone and the phone number wasn’t picking up but they were very welcoming once we did get a hold of someone.

Scene was really nice with comfortable common spaces and pretty decorations. Nice pool. Bedroom was spacious and really good value for money.

Visible mould on the walls inside, smell of the mould. You should not advertise this type of places for rent until it’s renovated. How to expect people to be satisfied? It’s just unfair for the people to pay the price and sleep in this kind of unhealthy environment. You can change my room to another one, thank you, but you are wasting my time that I have to come and even worry about this.

Firstly, my experience at the hotel was deeply disappointing from the moment I checked in to the moment I tried to check out—which, frankly, felt non-existent. The staff were noticeably unwelcoming and unhelpful throughout the stay. I raised concerns about the room feeling unsettling—particularly due to the excessive mirrors everywhere—but nothing was done. The bedding was dusty and uncomfortable, adding to the unease. My friend and I couldn’t sleep all night, dogs were barking at 3am, and decided to raise our concerns the following morning, requesting an early check-out. Again, we were met with indifference. The staff showed little initiative, and the manager merely suggested we seek a refund via Booking.com. Even then, no real action was taken. With no time to waste and no resolution in sight, we decided to leave that very morning. Also would like to flag that the cleanliness of the room was a major concern, unsure when was the last time they aired as it was dusty , and mouldy.
