Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).

Verified reviewThe accommodation was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The hotel grounds felt like a paradise – lush with plants and beautifully located by the beach. Mr. Soma and the reception team were outstanding, always organizing smooth trips for us around the island and even hassle-free day tours to Bali. We also loved the restaurant, where Mr. Alit made every visit a real pleasure. We were truly impressed by the kindness and attentiveness of the staff. Altogether, it was a perfect combination of comfort, paradise-like surroundings, and exceptional service.

Verified reviewA special experience thanks to the staff, and especially Ayu, who looked after us from start to finish, making sure we lacked nothing and that everything went perfectly. She regularly checked in on us, suggested activities, and even made sure our arrival and departure went smoothly, going as far as confirming with the boat that was taking us to our next destination. Truly an unforgettable experience — the staff are committed 101%. I genuinely recommend this place and can’t wait to come back!

They restaurant service was not great . The staff just forget about u and they were not organised. They were standing right in front of you but they are not paying attention so had to call them loudly to get attention . The resort transport service costs a lot more than normal . There is no other options . There is no such thing as a beach it’s full of rocks . There is no 24 hours room service

Thoughtful gestures like a honeymoon cake, and honeymoon floral decoration. Surprise traditional balinese sweet every night with thoughtful explanation.
To call this hotel a 5* is a stretch. Garden villas offer very little privacy, with each villa located right on the footpath and directly next to the neighbouring villas. There was some garbage that could easily have been collected by the staff around the grounds. Breakfast and the food generally was not amazing, but still acceptable. Booking.com offer included a 10 min massage for each person, something which was not offered or mentioned by the staff. Slightly misleading photos of the beach, only showing the hightide (sand) and not the lowtide (rocks and reefs). Was asked about a missing teaspoon on checkout, which we thought was strange and kind of funny. Quite detached from most major attractions, however that was not a big issue for us as we had a driver. Got a good deal through booking.com discount, but the full price would have been crazy to pay.

The staff provided exceptional service, and were both welcoming and highly attentive to our needs. The room was gorgeous with a very comfortable bed and a sofa swing outside. A delightful and unique touch was the daily delivery of different traditional Balinese sweets, each accompanied by a story of its origin. There was a beach infront of the resort which is a lovely walk! Highly recommended for an unforgettable stay!

Verified reviewFrom the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed by Ayu and other staff. We had arrived at our happy place! The 7 colour bracelet we were given was a nice touch. There was live music at night which was entertaining, I loved having a table on the sand. We loved the notes written on leaves, there was always attention to detail. The pool was fantastic and the lay out made everything easy to access.
The breakfast arrangement involved pre ordering food. I would have preferred a buffet, however the food we had was delicious and presented beautifully.

Remote and any service, food, transportation from the hotel is terribly expensive, especially knowing you dont have any other option (Grab not allowed in Nusa Penida, and the remote location) so it felt like being taken advantage of. The breakfast was really not up to the standard: To me this is the most exciting food moment of the day, and while normally not a bread croissant basket person, I was surprised not to see it added with the food, and so the fruits, I asked, I was told no, fruits and bakery basked not allowed as you can only take two plates (I took eggs, and a salade). I was honestly shocked and told the girl at the table if she was sure she said yes but I will check, I was 1000% she will come with a basket, she didnt and she said yes you only have two plates mam. For a 200 dollars a night hotel, I was speechless. Not a matter if money, but how at 07:00 AM my day started…

Regarding the transport, we did not mean to take advantage of you and we do apologize if you felt that way. Allow us to explain you regarding the transportation pricing in the Nusa Penida is different than in the main island. Kindly to inform you, the petrol station is limited found in the nusa penida that is impact the driver buy the petrol in the second or third hand which is cost the petrol 2-3 time higher than buy in the main island. Additionally, all logistics included delivery petrol to Nusa Penida rely on boat cargo with limited schedules, which also impacts pricing. The structural of Nusa Penida also hilly terrain and caused spent more petrol. Your feedback is very helpful toward us , and we’ll work to improve these areas.
