The room didn't meet my expectations for a 5-star property. The room was very tired and smaller than I expected. There was a bit of mould behind the mirror in the bathroom, so that was disappointing.

The bed was very comfortable, with good facilities around the hotel, with two restaurants on site. The breakfast was good with a lot of choice. The property is right by the beach with a bar with a great sunset view. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They were quick to respond to any assistance required. Good amount of toiletries provided.

The breakfast was average. Lots of variety but not a lot of flavour. We had a massive cockroach in our bathroom but probably not much you can do about that. Could do with some upgrades for a 5 star resort.

The staff were super friendly, always on hand with information and willing to help. The sunset bar is the perfect spot to watch the sunset and enjoy a drink. The Ekakaya ferry terminal is right beside the resort so was perfect for us to get back to Bali.

When relaxing on bean bags with drinks on beach sellers were still able to come and bother you. But in saying that they were not too pushy and were friendly and up for a chat if you wanted. You can see vendors are like Bali 15 years ago as is Lombok - people are poor and doing their best.

Sea view bungalow was perfect - beach swimmable and restaurant/ drinks entertainment great. Was relatively quiet but I think a lot of outside people come in each day to boost numbers. Happy hour was great - and musicians too. Staff were great!

The food and prices at the restaurant continue to be below the standard set by the rest of the hotel. Beer was quite dear at the bar.

I've stayed here many times (about 7). The breakfast was sensational as always. There is little difference between a sea view cottage and a garden cottage but it is a little better located. The staff are amazing

Just for information: If you will have room with no 107 or 108, those rooms are behind Basilico restaurant, so no direct sea view and the restaurant quests can see to the room balcony.

Lovely hotel with beautiful garden and pool area right on the beach. Sunset bar had lovely views. Nearby a lot of places to eat and couple of shops. Breakfast had variety. The rooms are spacious and beds comfortable.

Incredibly friendly employees, always willing to assist. Breakfast was extensive, very peaceful location with lots of tropical plants and greenery. Rooms were well appointed and spacious.

Little bit noisy at times, but there were a lot of local organised parties due to it being Christmas holidays. Local taxi drivers hang out outside the hotel and constantly ask you to go on trips.

The staff and locals are so friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable with room service every day if you want it. Breakfast was good and local restaurants are cheap.

A huge complex with hundreds of rooms that are a bit old-styled and some items very worn out. Seems to attract mostly older couples. Very bad and slow internet.

Very good and big breakfast buffet. The staff ist super considerate and helpful. Beautiful garden and a swimming pool. Very conveniently located on the Senggigi Beach.

Breakfast staff need to be resetting tables when unoccupied, we had to ask for utensils and serviettes lots of times.

My hubby and I stayed at Merumutta for 11days, we had a very relaxing time, the staff were so friendly and helpful The housekeeping staff kept our room cleaned every day, the management are very professional helped me organise a surprise bday cake and sing happy bday for mhubby which was wonderful. Breakfast has more then enough to choose from, except less Indonesian and more Western foods would be great. The grounds are kept so clean, everyday . We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back, except this time we will catch ferry from Sengiggi just in front of the resort.

This is classed as a 5 star resort, it definitely is not, more like 3 star. Needs a lot of maintenance, beach front bungalows and great but need some love. The breakfast was average, not a lot of food options & staff were very slow with service. They have locals day on a weekend & group staff activities so can be noisy on weekends. The grounds are nice but again need maintenance.

The location was great, close to shops & restaurants in Senggigi. The beach was amazing, clean & good swimming & snorkeling straight off the beach. This area is still recovering from the earthquake & Covid so not as good as previous years.

very dark rooms, you need to switch on the light durig the day, too many people on the beach who want to sell you stuff all day - every day, waiter should not touch your food with the fingers - they have to be more trained
