Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. The location was good, the pool was lovely, the staff very friendly, close to cheap and tasty food from local warungs. Air conditioning worked well, room small with no window, bed comfortable with nice white sheets. Value for money.

United KingdomUpon arrival, our room had a terrible sewage smell but it didn’t really seem to come from the bathroom. Made us doubt the cleanliness. We eventually fixed this by leaving the door open for a while, did mention to staff but they said it didn’t smell. Upon leaving I had pain in my sinuses, could have been an infection from the smell but not possible to say for definite, maybe just the AC. We also had problems with the key getting stuck in the door. A member of staff helped us get the key out, struggling for 5 minutes and handed the key back with a smile and walked away. The key kept getting stuck. New keys maybe? We also had problems with our toilet, every time we flushed it the water would keep running, filling the toilet up. When my partner told a member of staff, they knew it was the toilet before she had even spoken, clearly a recurring issue. The member of staff stopped it running, when flushed again the problem reoccurred. This meant that if we wanted to use the toilet we would have to find staff to fix it afterwards. They seemed to think we were flushing it wrong, however, I have had 20 years of practice with no problems thus far. It would have been nice considering the cumulative issues to just have been moved room. If you’re ok with stuff like this, it is decent value for money in the budget rooms.
Room appeared to be clean. Air conditioning worked really well.
