Bit of a walk uphill to the main part of Senaru, but the host Ahdi will offer to drop you. Great value for money. Not a true homestay as no family lives in the home, it's more a guest house.

Ahdi, the host, is super friendly and kind. He made my stay safe and joyful, dropping me to the little village and sharing information, playing guitar and singing together. Its a lovely, quiet place to stay with a beautiful garden.

A little far from the central part of Senaru where most things happen but one could take a walk.

Adi (guesthouse manager) made the place so cool to hang! He’s always there with a smile and willing to help out with anything needed. Room is basic, had a comfy bed and surprisingly hot shower in the day. Wifi is okayy too.

There was no AC in the room but this was okay as the fan worked perfectly well.

Great staff, very friendly and eager to practice their English. We had the basic room, no A/C but good value for the price and the fan was OK. . Location was great, plenty of places to walk to for food. The homestay can arrange Mt Rinjani trekking if required. Breakfast was banana pancakes-yum!

Maybe they can add some fruit or more ideas for breakfast. But the pancake was tasty. The room is not super cool, but is perfect for sleeping comfortably.

It was in the middle of the village, you have a good Warung close. They offer lunch or dinner if you want it. They are kind and helpful.

We had a really nice stay, the owner and his staff was really nice! They made us very good food! It was the best nasi goreng i have had. They keep it clean. In the evening they played the guitar and it was overall really welcoming. It is also not far from the mount rinjani and they will help you with everything, including becoming your taxi back to bangsal!

That I couldn't stay longer

It was hard leaving this place! The area is quiet at night, close to the waterfalls and the city center, the rooms have everything you need to be comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, and Ahdi and his wife are wonderful hosts who went way above and beyond to make sure our experience in Senaru was amazing (and it absolutely was). Never have I felt so at home in a local community, thank you guys so much for having us! 10/10 recommend staying here.

Nothing- best place ever!

Everything was perfect. The people were incredible, as was the food. Ardi and the whole family were genuinely the kindest and most helpful people we have ever met. We were so sad to leave and can’t wait to come back as soon as we can! This was our favourite place in Indonesia and we can’t recommend it enough! :)

Very good value rooms with nice shower. Possibility to have lunch and dinner at their premises. Quick and perfect laundry, scooter and transportation service. The team is very nice! It was a great pleasure to talk with them and have a good time together. It is a family business. Everybody was eager to help. It was a great pleasure for us - father with 17, 21, 23 old sons - to stay there and visit the fantastic landscape, waterfalls, rice fields, old mosque… Rinjani - maybe next time

A very warm welcome from Ardi, delicious food for a reasonable price (the best peanut sauce for a gado gado so far by some margin), a comfortable bed in a good sized room, the best laundry service of anywhere we've been in Indonesia, a nice shower with hot water, complementary breakfast, well situated, and all for very low prices. Ardi is a brilliant host, his kids are funny and his wife is lovely. They have big plans for adding more facilities, I recommend supporting them. Excellent 👌

If you can't handle insects, maybe don't go here. But honestly I think insects will be in every accomodation since Senaru is basically in the jungle.

We had the most remarkable stay here. The owner is so nice and welcoming. The first night we did karaoke and danced together and the second night we were invited to a ceremony celebration, such a memorable experience! The rooms are ok, basic but everything that you need: a fan, warm water and a comfortable bed.

The wifi was terrible, not working in the room, we didn't have hot shower during the evening both days, hot water was working in the morning. Because of the location in the middle of the nature we found spiders and some other bugs in our room a few times, if it's something bothering you maybe not the best place...

Really peaceful place, in the middle of a garden, great to visit Senaru waterfalls (we could walk there). The staff is really nice and helpful!

One of my best place in Indonesia ! The owner Ahdi and all his friends were very nice and friendly. When you come here it's like your home. The room and the bathroom are very comfortable, I felt very well ! Don't hesitate to come here if you want to stay in Senaru or if you want to climb up Mount Rinjani. They organise this trekking with a good price 👍

The family is lovely and the food was very good. Ardi was very helpful for the places to see, for the bike. The waterfall near the accommodation is amazing ! And I had an excellent evening with Ardi and his brother around Bintang, rice wine and music. The room is simple but clean and same for the bathroom.
