I booked the same day and when I wrote the property Nobody answered me, I arrived at 8pm and nobody was there, I called the numbers and the two people that where taking care of the place and nobody answered. I started walking the place and I founded one bedroom with the key outside and I slept there. The other day they told me that they sent me a message saying that the room will be ready and I can get in, but I never received that message. The place was good

The air conditioner is a bit noisy.

The room was big and clean, but there were some bugs during the rainy season, but it was OK. Novi was very welcoming, gave us a lot of travel advice, and helped us solve the refrigerator problem in time. a great person.

There is construction noise, but Sea Star can't be blamed for this. Thankfully it's not permanent. There are some good ear plugs available nowadays . It doesn't start till 8 so you can sleep in at least.

Sea Star is great value for the price. I booked at the last moment but wasn't concerned as I had stayed recently. Due to a change in circumstances I needed a room for an extra night. Staff welcomed me warmly and it was good to see them again. It's difficult to find a place at this price with a kettle and a decent size fridge so that's a real bonus too. The pool is well-maintained.

The place is really run down, the pictures were probably taken 15 years ago It is very, very mouldy. To the point it stinks. It doesn't have any windows that you can open so it's really stuffy. We stayed for 4 nights and didn't have any hot water for 2 days, the owner didn't bother to reply on booking.com for 2 days and staff did their best to help us. The towels are made of polyester or some weird material and don't absorb any water, they are pretty useless. The gate it's open all day and night, which means sometimes stray dogs come into the garden.

The staff is really friendly and they are really trying to make an effort.

This hotel is great value for money. Our triple room was spacious, comfortable, was cleaned every day and towels were provided. Novi was exceptionally helpful and friendly. The hotel is about a 20 minute motorbike ride to the nearby beaches. There are lots of grab taxis around for a very cheap cost. The breakfast was delicious. Thank you!

I would like to point out that our room had a musty smell and a small family of spiders behind the furniture, and the refrigerator had no shelves

There was a slight musty smell in the room but other than that nothing!

The property was excellent value for money. The person who welcomed me was very friendly and helpful. The room came with a fridge and kettle, which was nice, and was comfortable. I had the breakfast which was pretty good and reasonably priced. There’s also a few nice restaurants within walking distance.

Toilet didn't flush, shower was dodgy and bathroom not well ventilated. Smelled a bit moldy throughout room. Fridge was not defrosted and very dirty. New pillows would have been nice! General presentation of place was very worn. The pictures didn't match the real place

Me and my wife had booked 5 night at Sea Star Bali. When we first arrived the Air conditioner didn't work, so we changed to another room, here the air conditioner was ok, still not working properly, because it was very old. The mattress in the new room was really bad, we asked the owners for another bed, but they didn't want to change, so we changed it ourselves from one of the other rooms. The pool needs to be cleaned, the bottom is green and I didn't want to swim in it.

The rooms were very nice, big, spacious and clean. The only problem for us was the air conditioner and the mattress, but once we changed the mattress and got a room with an aircondition that worked, the room was very comfortable.
