We didn't stay in the Mango Retreat but in the Mango Motel. The bathroom was not clean, we asked the staff if they could clean it and they promised to, but finally didn't. The beach towels were not very clean either.

The facilities were good, there was AC and the beds were comfortable. They provided beach towels.

Cleaning was not every day, only every 3 days. The bathroom had a bad smell. We didn’t get new towels daily. The staff said they would book us a horse and cart for the morning as we had an early boat but they didn’t and ignored our messages so we had to walk and with big suitcases - not easy.

Good location, close to Working on Air. Able to use Scallywags beach too with sunbeds included. Felt homely due to nice decor with art on walls and water dispenser in room. Fridge provided in room too.

Boutique setup and properly done. Nice small pool to cool down end of day. Water tank with drinking water in the room so no plastic bottles everywhere. Outdoor shower is always a nice touch. Breakfast at the beach club at a 10 min walking distance.

- The bathroom was in a terrible state — very dirty and clearly in need of a deep clean. There was also a strong and persistent sewage smell, which made the experience very unpleasant. We only had hot water on the first day. - The service at the Beach Club was very inconsistent. On the first day, we waited at the entrance not knowing if we should just go in and sit down. Two staff members saw us but didn’t approach, and during the entire time on the sunbeds, no one brought a menu or asked if we wanted anything — it felt like they weren’t really interested in serving. On the second day, the service was much better: we got the menu and the flag. On the third day, the menu was given to us, but only after an hour.

Mala (trainee) did our check-in — she’s super friendly and truly a ray of sunshine! Having access to the beach club is a huge plus, we loved to lay on the sunbeds. Breakfast was also very good, with several options.

I'm sorry to say that I felt the room could have been a bit cleaner. It needed some TLC as it felt a little neglected. It is a shame, as I can imagine this place would be amazing if it were newly decorated.

I loved the location as it was right near the main street with gorgeous restaurants just next to us. The room is very quiet at night, and I loved the big bed and the Netflix option on the TV.

No staff around. Took 45 minutes to get checked in. Got locked out at 10.30pm, only another guest opened the outer gate for me, as I wasnt supplied a key for the outer door.

Excellent value. Nice rooms, great little pool, decent location.

The accomodation met our exceptions, the rooms are becoming a little dated compared to other accomodation that we stayed in on Gili Air.

The breakfast is provided as one of the other Scallywag location on the island which is a 10min walk from the accomodation. The breakfast has limited options and not everything was available each day.

Wasn't staffed 24hrs which was an issue when our child was ill during the night and we needed fresh bedding. Otherwise, no complaints at all!

Clean and comfy rooms. Great pool with plenty of shade. Access to beach club loungers on a great stretch of beach. Breakfast was included and really tasty!

I thought I had booked the rooms advertised in the listing -- but these were full and so I was placed in the motel rooms at the back of the hotel which were not as big or nice. The shower also didnt have much pressure and was impossible to set to a warm temperature.

The location of the accommodation was perfect -- central and easy to get to from all over the island. The breakfast at their beach restaurant was the absolute best way to start the day. Highly recommended.

The room + toilet looks old & dirty. The water pressure in the shower was very low- makes showering a misery each time. There is no staff in reception area. I need to walk 10 mins to their beach club to get assistance & to get breakfast.

The location is little bit far from the beach, and breakfast place/restaurant, the receptionist table are always empty no people in charge, the television is not work at all in room number 1a, the air conditioning also not cold, i like the concept of open bathroom but please consider about the small flyes and mosquitoes.

Facility is good, big bad, extra bed is good. They provide the water drink for free revil.

Reception inaccessible, street door closed all the time, and doorbell doesn't work. Hotel pool inaccessible when you want to go in, door closed all the time. Room 1 Impossible to sleep due to the noise of a generator behind the partition Constant noise of a jet plane I had to request an emergency solution because it was unbearable Broken door handle lock in the room The door doesn't close properly Even when closed, it can open. Lots of problems for such a price
