nothing! there were insects here and there but that’s because we’re in an area with paddy fields so it’s normal!

Firstly, staff was extremely welcoming, welcome drink and explained very thoroughly about details of the accommodation upon arrival, extremely receptive throughout the stay, replied texts very fast and always went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. Secondly, even though location is slightly stranded. It’s perfect to get away from the noise of traffic and construction. View of paddy fields was so nice, and i’m glad i got the villa at the end, room 202, as the view from the pool was very refreshing. Pool was so nice, everything was very clean, bed was comfortable, pillows were cold and fluffy. In-room massage was amazing!! Able to book many things through the hotel, including tours, rental of bikes, massages, even tarot card readings. Definitely looking forward to coming back to stay. Best accommodation throughout my whole trip in Bali. Looks exactly like the pictures

I booked this Villa in Sebatu as the last leg of my Indonesia travel. It was so comfortable with the family hosting the sweetest and so helpful. Very calm neighbourhood with restaurants, waterfalls and temples in walking distance. I just stayed for two nights but wish I stayed longer. Food was great! The private pool was so good.

My wife and I stayed at Sawah Sebatu for a week and it was easily the highlight of our Bali trip. The location is stunning — peaceful, surrounded by rice fields, and tucked away from the crowds, yet close enough to explore Ubud. The food was incredible, fresh, and full of authentic flavour. What truly made our stay unforgettable was Yovi and her amazing family — their hospitality, warmth, and attention to detail made us feel like part of the family. The villa was spotless, comfortable, and waking up to those views every morning was pure magic. If you’re looking for a peaceful, authentic Bali experience — this is it!

The bathroom had a unique interiour, the private garden with pool was peaceful, with a lot of plants. There were no bugs in the room. The staff was extremely friendly. Really good juices that were brought via room service. For breakfast you can choose between american breakfast (eggs, bacon, patatoes, …) or indonesian breakfast (nasi goreng for example) or smoothies including fruit and muesli (which were really good). You get fruit platters with the breakfast so that’s good but in general the choice is limited between these three types of breakfast. Location is good when you like rest and not-busy areas. It’s 35-40 minutes away from ubud centre, so you need a taxi to go there. But it’s close to the rice terraces and most important temples and waterfalls.

The villa was very clean, all the staff were smiling, everything was perfect. I will choose it again on my next Ubud holiday and I definitely recommend it. The view and the sunset were magnificent. I slept very comfortably, there were no mosquitoes inside. Since the bed was tulle, I slept very comfortably and comfortably.

Beautiful stay with an even more beautiful family. We loved this private villa in the middle of the ricefields. It’s located in a quiet village but with lots of Balinese and western restaurants around. The villa itself has everything you need, but what made our stay exceptional was the host Yovi and her entire family. They made us feel at home, always taking care of us and our needs. The breakfast was delicious. We rented a scooter and drove around Ubud and many other parts of the island. There are a couple of small convenience shops nearby but the villa should have everything you need. Overall a very good stay near Ubud, we highly recommend, especially for couples.

We had an amazing & relaxing stay at Sawah Sebatu Villa. The property is beautiful, bed is comfortable, and the private pool is amazing. We enjoyed welcome drinks and decorations for our anniversary in our room, breakfast in front of the pool every morning and balinese massages. We loved the location in the middle of the rice fields with the sounds of nature at night, but walking distance to some great local cafés and restaurants. Yovita is a great host, she took care of every detail to make our stay perfect. It was the best way to celebrate our anniversary, and we hope we can come back soon. Thank you so much!

Location is close to rice farm. You can hear continuous noises from frogrs especially during night . Apart from it, this place was far beyond expectations.

We dont have enough words to express our experience at this place. Yovi and her team was super supportive and caring throughout the stay. The villa and its surrounding reflected the Balinese culture, landscape and hospitality. Special mention for the team who woke up probably at 3 to simply pack us the breakfast as takeaway and help with luggage. The spa services through this stay was just amazing and allowed us to unwind completely. overall a wonderful stay. Inside the villa itself there were no insects etc so perfectly good stay.

Our stay lasted for 5 days, everything was perfect, the staff was kind and helpful every day, cleaning the room, everything was clean and fragrant, the pool was clean, the garden was well maintained, the villa is located in a beautiful and quiet area surrounded by rice fields, they also offer great food, which you can enjoy in your villa, and they have scooter rental at next time we visit Bali, we will definitely come back and take only the most beautiful memories with us
