My only criticism is that the path from the main road is not clearly marked and the place is difficult to find. Otherwise a fabulous stay - 10/10!

Very friendly and attentive staff. Delicious, home cooked food served on site. Clean and comfortable room with a spectacular view. Excellent value for money.

If you know that you’re coming into a real life-like experience, living like the locals, then there isn’t anything to not like. The rooms are not hotel-like, sure, there can be a few bugs here and there, but that’s what happens when you’re staying literally next to the jungle and the rice fields. If you want a hotel-like experience, perhaps this isn’t your place. But if you want a real, genuine experience with people who really take care of you and go above and beyond to transmit you the genuine Indonesian experience, then this is your place. The path to get to the bungalows is a bit tricky, but it’s also part of the experience.

The staff is the friendliest I’ve found throughout my whole trip in Indonesia. This is not your typical hotel/home-stay, but rather an experience where you get the rare chance to get involved in a small community and village, making you feel like one of their own. Everyone is super friendly, available for anything you need, always with a smile on their faces, with local guides who really know their way around rice fields and monkey forests. I think this is the closest we got to have a genuine Indonesian experience. The staff made us feel like home and we left feeling like we had made new friends for life.

Just the road to get to the accommodation is bit tricky to navigate. But it’s worth it for where you stay.

Place is a gem. The paintings, the breakfast area, the whole vibe was amazing. Loved the hammocks and how kind the staff were. Yummy breakfast. And hot water showers :)

The staff was always at the bar drinking and smoking which killed a bit the vibe of the experience. It was a bit chaotic and informal the payment, but again part of the experience. A bit less of alcohol consumption could improve a lot the experience and management of the place.

When you enter the bungalows you have a sign that says something like "enter as a guest and leave as family" and they delivered. This place has a special charm. It definitely made our experience in Lombok the best of the trip. They are located in the middle of a small village and the facilities are authentic. You're surrounded by nature and the host and employees are very friendly, humble, willing to help and share some laughs. We booked with them a tour to the waterfalls, black monkey forest and the rice fields. Cok, our guide, had lots of experience and was very funny. He then took us to a place for lunch that was very cheap and delicious!! After the tour we were lucky to attend a wedding in the village and it was just amazing. It was the same host who invited us and made us feel like home. For the next day we booked with them a tour that included local market, handcraft spots and a cooking class. It was so much fun. Tony is the best driver and took us to the local market, made us try some local snacks, and then took us to the pottery, bamboo and sarong art shops. There we learned the process for all these crafts. When we arrived into the bungalows, everything was ready for the cooking class and we shared a lovely moment with the women from the village. They don't speak English but we had Aziz doing the translation for us. The food was unique and delicious. We had three rooms and each room was different, only one had hot water, but it was okay since we used it after long sunny days. It is a magic place where you get to share with locals and you're taken out of your comfort zone. For the price we paid, it had the breakfast included which was a big plus.

when entering the bungalow you find a sign that says “come as guest and leave as family”. although we have only spent one night here, we totally got where that sign came from. we hang out with the stag, who was lovely and friendly. they offer tours and cooking time. we really got the true and authentic Tetebatu vibe and we are extremely grateful for the moments spent together. amazing location, which felt very local, in the middle of the nature. highly recommended.

What we liked less: there isn’t much comfort in the room itself, so be prepared for something very simple – but for the price and the location, it’s absolutely unbeatable.

The room was exactly like in the photos – small and quite dark, located in a simple hut – but that’s exactly what gives it its charm in the middle of the rice fields. You don’t really come here for the room itself, but for the incredible view. You can see the waterfall right from the rooms, sleep surrounded by rice terraces, and wake up to the sound of chickens – it’s a truly authentic experience. The food they cook in the small kitchen next door is fantastic: the breakfast omelette and pancakes were delicious, and the Nasi Goreng was amazing – unbeatable for the price. The real highlight, however, is the tour organized by the hotel. The guide speaks several languages, including excellent English, and tailored the day perfectly to our pace. We spent around five to six hours exploring, saw lots of monkeys, beautiful waterfalls, and endless rice terraces. The rhythm was relaxed with plenty of breaks, and it turned into one of the most beautiful days of our trip – the hotel fits perfectly into this experience.

    Nothing!

We had such a fantastic stay here, a highlight of Lombok. The guys who run the place are lovely, really friendly, great cooks, great to hang out with. You won't want to leave! It's actually hard to go anywhere else to eat without getting lost but the food is so good you don't need to! You can also organise any trips and transfers through them including 2nd summit of Rinjani (which I recommend) and rice paddy tour. Then just hangout and enjoy their company/music. Thank you! ❤️ Also it's beautiful and the rooms are fab!

A few things need renewing. It's a long, rough road to get there but it's definately worth it. The guys are so laid back you sometimes don't know what's happening, but it always worked out. You just have to ask, they're very helpful.

The setting and views are stunning! And the traditional style bungalows were very cute. The walking tour of the local ricefields, waterfalls and monkey forest is a must! The chicken soup was amazing. Loved the guitar playing and singing.

The room was very small for the size of the bed, so there wasn’t much space left. The lighting could also be improved. It’s important to know that getting to the accommodation isn’t very easy. The taxi drops you off on the main road, and from there you have to walk about 5–10 minutes down a dirt path with slopes. In our case, it started raining just as we arrived, which made it tricky — the path was slippery and carrying our backpacks made it even harder.

Having breakfast included is a big plus, as the location makes it a bit difficult to go out and look for food. It’s an excellent option if you’re looking for peace, quiet, and a break from the city. The place is surrounded by rice fields, so the views are incredible. Just keep in mind that, apart from the Tetebatu tour offered by the accommodation, there isn’t much to do in the area. In our case, we stayed for two nights and it was perfect — we were coming from the craziness of Gili and heading to Kuta, Lombok, so the calm was just what we needed.

I didn't dislike it, but just heads up- if you don't have own scooter, the place it's tiny bit far to walk to shops/restaurants (however you can get food and drinks there directly). The tranquility is worth it. The rooms are pretty small so if you have large luggage, might be bit challenging

Amazing location, stunning views, short walk through rice fields to a beautiful waterfall, lush garden, absolutely tranquil place. The cottage itself is pretty charming, quite small and basic, but has all that you need for a short stay - fan ( no need for AC in there), hot water, bedside lamp..

If you’re looking for an authentic place with the most amazing staff; Satu Lingkung is the place to be!! The bungalows itself are very cute and have the most amazing views. But don’t expect too much luxury as they’re quite basic. With regard to the location and the staff; everything was absolutely perfect. We went for a 4 hour tour with Chok, which eventually ended up in an 8 hour itinerary. He really was the most amazing tour guide and went above and beyond to show us around all the amazing places Tetebatu (and neighboring places) have to offer. Also the food was some the best we’ve had in Indonesia. 10/10 would recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Room and particularly the bathroom was dirty and full of mould. It smelt super damp and the pillow cases were covered in mould. The common areas make this place, my score would be a lot lower without.

The common areas were amazinggg! Super chilled and friendly vibe, in a peaceful location with awesome views! The room itself was cool, we had the deluxe and the bathroom was a funky ground thing.

There are some animals living in the rice fields and sometimes come to visit you in your room.

Such a beautiful bungalows in between rice fields with stunning views. One of the most delicious food I’ve had in Indonesia. The entrance road is super steep but staff can help you drive the scooter down and up. But it’s so worth it once you see the actual accommodation. There is an easy walk down through the rice fields, find a staircase heading to a main road, monkey forest, cross the river and back to the Accom.

The room is a bit small, might struggle to find a spot for your stuff if you have a lot of luggage. On the Friday night the staff and guests were having a little party in the communal area, there was bass heavy psytrance and techno playing that was really annoying. normally we'd join but needed to be up early the next day and they didn't turn it off until maybe 10-11. I went to the bar to get some water and the music wasn't loud it's just the bass travels. we were there for a few nights and it was only a weekend thing. Overall for sure I'd come back in a heartbeat the positives hugely outweigh any negatives

This place is absolute paradise it's the most beautiful place I've ever stayed, two beautiful waterfalls on the property. the room was well lit with nice yellow light and a nice painting. The hammock overlooking the rice fields was amazing. We stayed In a different place the night before but because it was concrete it was way too hot, I'm fat and really struggle without Aircon but i was absolutely fine without one this time. The free pancakes for breakfast were tasty and the welcome drink was a nice touch.
