B/fast was basic, however being staying in homestay in a ‘small’ town is an experience. I ve learned with nice holiday at Kuta

    Bed Cld be firmer.

It is a beautiful location and friendly staff.

No AC, fridge was not working properly to keep my medication cool, bed was on wooden pallets, lights were very dimmed which was not nice for me. Staircase was weird and hard to climb. A lot of mosquitos and worms. Breakfast was not worth it either, i’m sorry. I did not sleep here because of all these things, especially because my medication has to be below 20.

    Property response:

Dear Milla, Thank you for taking your time to give us the feedback. We would like to take it for our improvement. We are sorry that you didn’t like you stay with us. Before you booked the room, it’s written on the name of the room that the room is with fan, I think you missed to read the name of the room that is with fan? Also with the description. The room is the traditional house of Lombok, we clearly showed it all in the pictures and the description. We are sorry again if you don’t like the experience. We wish you a nice day. Thank you.

The hotel itself is good and immerses you in the atmosphere of the local Sasak culture. The houses there are made from natural materials, every detail is well thought out, the bed is very comfortable, and the surroundings are beautiful with lots of greenery. However, there are a few things that make staying here for more than one day not comfortable.

    1. No hot water. In the evening, the weather is not warm, and taking a shower with cold water is very uncomfortable. 2. The same simple breakfast every day. The same basic breakfast is served every day: an omelet, three slices of bread, a few pieces of dragon fruit, and tea. By the third day, it became impossible to eat it. Additionally, breakfast starts late, only at 8 a.m. 3. Too many insects indoors. Yes, it’s understandable in a house like this, but the two-story cottage didn’t even have proper doors to close off the balcony — only curtains. As a result, we could hear all the insects and animals outside as if they were inside the house. 4. Very very poor Wi-Fi. The internet was almost non-functional, and we couldn’t even watch a movie properly. Sometimes, the connection disappeared completely and we couldn't do anything.

Its a lovely property in one of the side roads. The houses are super beautiful and that whole place is a little oasis apart from the busy main road. The stuff is super friendly and welcoming. I had a super nice time.

This is a very cool place to stay. You have a whole open air apartment to yourself! Breakfast was nice. Toilet good!

Mosquitos in the toilet but this was the nature of the place. No AC so was a little warm as the fan felt slow. I think a proper built in mosquito net is necessary.

    Property response:

Dear Hazel, Thank you for taking your time to give us your feedback. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay with us. Also we did put the mosquito net in the room now so next time when you come back, your stay will be much better and nicer. Thank you and take care! Best regards Sasak Team

Great location, away from the noise of the centre of town, but still walking distance. We loved the traditional Sasak room, with the open balcony. There was a nice sitting area with a garden.

Maybe a mosquito net would be good. No hot shower.

The design of this homestay is truly incredible, they replicated the Sasak houses you find in villages nearby in a much more glamourous way! The hut that we had was two stories, below we had some sort of a "lounge" area and the bathroom and upper level was a very big room with a balcony. Keep in mind that the room is fully open, there isn't a window stopping insects and lizards from coming in (from the balcony or the wood structure). The place has a mosquito net that you place above the bed, and there is an anti-mosquito machine. There is a large ceiling fan and the host can provide additional fans if needed. There isn't an AC but the fans were enough for us to sleep at night. No breakfast but the location is super central so you can just walk to the main street and grab food.

I think the mosquito nets could be improved and placed in a way that it is not really hovering over your face while you sleep, which can be a bit uncomfortable - overall we got used to the sleeping arrangements really quickly and still enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful original stay in Lombok. Close to nature, little balcony, quiet, beautifully decorated and clean. Super attentive staff.

Mind you, you are surrounded by nature and in a traditional sasak home, so it’s not fully hard walls or big windows( but balcony and little terrace outside). Feels more like a little bungalow and you can hear rain outside and nature etc . But this depends on individual taste. If you are someone desperate for air conditioning mind that there isn’t any. There is ceiling fan however and owner was kind enough to give us a fan too so it was resolved ☺️

Really nice accommodation in an old traditional house with a nice balcony. There are only two houses on the compound so it is very private even though close to the city. We had great breakfast (fruit bowl with granola/ eggs/juice). Vera organised a cheap scooter (70k/d) for us and the service in total was great and uncomplicated.

Because of the historical building you can hear the mosque's call for prayer which might wake you up at 4 am, but ear plugs help. A mosquito net would be a nice addition.

Beautifully decorated and spacious room. Vera was very helpful in organizing us transportation and motorbikes for our stay. The pictures online really don’t do the place justice.

No room cleaning - should be included in the price.

The staff was really nice&friendly. Vera was really sweet and always checked up on us if everything is good. The location is really close to the city center. Vera has a really good burger restaurant called La Cabrona (by far the best burger in the city)!

In the room there's only a cold shower but there's a shower-cabinet in the garden with a hot shower.
