How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Some very simple additions would make a big difference, such as hooks on the wall or a small cabinet/shelf other than the bedside tables. The handle on the door to the bathroom was missing and should be replaced.
Great location, nice environment, clean bedding and towels, a working safe box for valuables (though didn't really use), shower with hot water, small bars of soap provided and bottles of water given on arrival. Fantastic air-con!

The staff‘s behaviour (the skinny one with long hair and a short young guy) was completely inadequate. They stole my husband‘s Hurley bathing short and only gave it back after my husband saw him wearing it and confronted him with photos of himself wearing it in the past. The staff claimed they found it in the room when cleaning after we had switched rooms. It would have been an easy thing to return them to us or at least to ask if they belonged to us. Without words, it is simply theft but we did not want to create problems for the friendly owners who had nothing to do with it. Additionally, ever since that day, also our airpods are gone… keep an eye on your staff!

Live music in the hotel next door could be a problem for some, but we rather liked it and it didn't go on too late in the night. Curtains are slightly translucent, but it's not too bright outside and as far as I could tell you can't see into the rooms
A beautiful place, very calm with a lovely atmosphere. The hosts were very friendly and although they had varying degrees of English, all very chatty where they could be. Lovely dogs and impressive fish on the property too. Pool is small but great for a dip to cool off and the outside shower for the pool was great. Room was lovely and bathroom worked well. Location was good for the beach. Amazing value for money. Also a brilliant breakfast place just next door.

The rooms are a bit old, the comfort room wasnt cleaned well.
The property is located in the center area! Very near the convenience stores, money changers, restaurants, and walking distance from the beach! The rooms may be a bit old and rusty, but the staff was so accommodating and nice! The staff is very commendable!

Sari Indah Cottages could be little gem if more attention would be taken with regard to the bathroom, in particular to the appliances which need to be not only fixed but replaced, as well as the bathroom door at least in the room we stayed at.
The garden and pool give the place a good vibe. Although not far from bustling Jl Legian, it is quiet!! Even though we did not use the pool, it is nice to look at under the palm trees. There is always somebody at reception. Internet is fast. Our bed was good. The price-value ratio is actually very good. Would come back.
