it’s gorgeous and modern. breakfast was lovely and the host was super attentive, he made us fresh banana milkshakes on arrival and our room was lovely and clean and very big!

There was no working wifi (as is advertised), no soap in the bathrooms (and staff didn’t provide us any when we asked). The rooms had stains all over the walls, on the bedding (lift the sheets and you will see the blood stains on the sheets!), and the rooms with 2 bedrooms smelt of sewerage. There also appears to be mould growing on the walls of the room with 2 beds! This has unfortunately been a misleading and time wasting experience for us. The manager/owner will NOT return your messages requesting a refund. We left soon after check in due to the filthy state of the room. There is a rubbish dump next to the main walkway and staff were seen throwing rubbish out there on the ground. The road to the hotel is a muddy track and not safe for scooters. Do not book here. It is a scam, filthy and nothing like what is described online. Check the other reviews in European languages for accurate descriptions from a while ago. JULY 2025

No electricity multiple times per day. The room wasn’t properly cleaned (spiderwebs, dead insects, etc). No shower gel, almost no water pressure on the shower.

I would give lower rating to the hotel if it wasn’t that they staff is super friendly and nice. They managed rental of motorbikes and taxi for us and it was nice talking with them.

Super clean and lovely room. Really luxury place - had the whole property to ourselves as they were doing a soft opening. Looks like they had room for a bar for the future.

When I first inquired about the wifi password, the receptionist said that wifi was not working. Apparently something was lost in translation as I found the wifi password on a piece of paper in the room and was able to connect to the wifi. However, the wifi connection at the room #8 was dismal as it is located at the back of the property and presumably furthest away from the transmitter. For reference, wifi reception in the dining room just behind the check-in desk was strong. Throughout my 3 day stay, there were empty rooms closer to the main lobby with presumably better wifi connectivity. Given that they know that wifi doesn't work in the furthest rooms away, I'm uncertain why they located me there after expressing dissatisfaction that there was no wifi for a relatively expensive room in the area.

Located in the middle of agricultural fields, it offers a quiet stay far from the loudspeakers of local mosques. The included breakfast and coffee was basic, but quite tasty. AC worked well. I found the staff to be friendly and overall the stay was pleasant.

Probably need a scooter to access and to get too and from beach but only a 5 min ride to the beach :)

Communication before our arrival could have been a bit better. Wifi is also a bit weak, but this is an issue all across Selong Belanak.

Really nice place, great for value in Selong Belanak! It's on a quiet road just outside the village. The rooms are really nice, and the staff was lovely and very helpful. Zen and Jin even dropped us off at a local surf school, and arranged our pick up to our next destination. We even got to know some Lombok music sharing some time around local drinks with them.

The place recently reopened with new owners, so some things are still being worked out (e.g. roof top restaurant coming), but we’re sure this hotel is going places!

The accommodation is located in between rice fields and also within walking distance to the beach. The team and especially Alec were super friendly, welcoming and helpful! Whatever we needed (scooter, travel advice, surf lesson, laundry), they took care of it and made sure we enjoyed our stay. We even extended two more nights and would love to come back!

Very happy we stayed in this nice hotel in the middle of beautiful rice fields (5min scooter ride from the beach). It is very new and I am confident it will only get better with time. You get a very spacious and clean room for the price! Bathroom is very nice too, with hot water! Alex and his staff have been really nice and helpful. The breakfast was delicious too! Definitely recommend 100%

I wouldn't change anything. I can recommend this place to anyone, my friends will come and join me next week. Alec has organised our surfing and showed me some hidden gems in the local area.

This is such an amazing place! I feel so lucky to find it, I was travelling alone and a little confused because I can't drive. The manager Alec helped me so much and organised a lot of activities for me to do :) The breakfast was delicious and It's an incredible location and great price. I have extended and plan to stay for a while.
