Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe walk down to the beach is not particularly child-friendly with small children and a pram. We felt the hotel shop was somewhat overpriced.
The staff are fantastic and very friendly. The resort is pretty and well maintained, with a practical and attractive layout. Rooms are huge and well appointed, very clean, comfortable beds and the baby cot and highchair were great. Any requests were dealt with quickly, nothing is too much trouble for the staff who are lovely. Children loved the water slide and pools, also the kids activities (although these are limited, again wonderful staff). We enjoyed the ambience around the pools, the food and drink was also good (both downstairs and room service). Excellent buffet breakfast too. Good Happy Hour!

United KingdomThe hotel in 30+ years old and, whilst is generally well maintained, some of the facilities (particularly the “game room” and the gym) need investment and upgrading. The location fronting onto the busy bypass road and surrounding lanes isn’t very salubrious, and it’s quite a long walk to the beach for children, along rather busy and scruffy lanes; which isn’t great when you get there. Food and drink prices are pretty standard for this type of resort (2+ times that of local restaurants), but the hotel shop is rip-off (150,000 rupiah (£7) for a kids inflatable swimming ring ☹️).
All of the staff were wonderful and super nice to our three young grandchildren. Rooms were big, clean and comfortable. As long as you stay “on site” it’s a fantastic resort for families with young children, provided you/they want to spend most of the day in the various swimming pools.

AustraliaSome fittings in the bathroom were rusty and in need of upgrades. Location: it's about a 5-10 minute drive to the beach. Cost: we found it a bit too expensive, so not the best value for money.
Lovely staff who were very helpful and friendly. Great bar by the pool with good food options. The kids' movie night was great. The staff organised a cake for my husband's birthday, which was so kind.

AustraliaThe hotel is a 15+ minute walk to the beach. There is a free shuttle which runs 5 or 6 times a day. We took a taxi (less than $5) because it was easier with 2 little kids. The balcony only has 2 chairs in the 3 bedroom apartment. The door has a flick lock on the inside and a key lock outside??? We wedged the door closed with an umbrella for the toddler’s safety. The water pressure in the non-ensuite shower was pitiful. Strangely the pressure in the bath (on the same fitting) was strong. I told them I thought the shower head needed replacing but nothing changed.
Brilliant family resort. The 3 bedroom apartment was huge. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was okay - good selection, alright prices and very edible. The 2for1 happy hour from 1pm to 8pm is amazing. Breakfast is very good, especially the cooked to order pancakes and the free coffee machines. The star of the show is the kids activities: The pool slide, playground and kids club keep kids entertained all day. The main pool has a volley ball net, basketball hoops and plenty of comfortable chairs, cabanas and tables. There is a coffee machine in the apartment with 4 pods each day. If you plan to spend most of your time at the resort and enjoy the facilities, this is a great choice for families.

We had an excellent stay at prime plaza suites. The room was nice and spacious with a full kitchen, the pool area was great. Friendly staff. The pool bar had a full gluten free menu and gluten free kids items which was perfect for our coeliac daughter. The breakfast buffet had a separate gluten free section. Excellent location , 7 minute walk out the back gate to the Main Street.

AustraliaBreakfast "juice" was more like a cordial. Some issues with termites in the room (though swiftly fixed). Poor labelling of dietary inclusions in breakfast food. Would be good to have more uplifting music at the pool. Bring your own floaties/floatation devices or buy at the shops as the adult pool is deep. The gym is basic, but you get access to Prime Plaza Hotel Gym which is amazing and eqivalent to a commercial gym.
With two pools (one for children with a waterslide, one for grownups and teens, but also options for children), this is a stellar family resort. The staff couldn't be more lovely, and it's just a short stroll from lovely restaurants, supermarkets, shops, and everything you could need. Breakfast had varied options, and the staff were very accommodating of dietary needs, be mindful to check the ingredients if you have allergies, as sometimes the "vegan" signage was not accurate. The kids' club had four activities per day on a weekly timetable; some options were not as exciting as others (treasure hunt, biggest splash competition, face painting, origami). The biggest splash comp was a crowd favourite, especially as it included the "big kids"(adults) in a bonus round. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. Happy Hour from 12-8pm. A highly recommended stay for those with kids under 11. It would be great to see more options that cater for teens.

Food was amazing, the pool was never too busy, staff were so happy and friendly. Kids club staff were so kind and patient, knew our daughters name and made her feel so welcome. Apartment was really big and so comfortable. Resort felt so safe which was comfort when travelling with our 6 year old. We would highly recommend. The buffet breakfast had so much choice.
