The hotel is a bit off frontje city centre, too bad because when driving through next day, Banyuwangi seemed quite pleasant.

Nice hotel when in-transit to Bali, rooms are comfortable and the pool is nice. Breakfast better then expected and my children loved the fluffy donuts (according to them best breakfast snack from our entire trip :-)

Comfortable hotel, relatively good breakfast. Banyuwangi has a great potential to become a better tourist location, since there is much more to see than just Ijen.

Santika needs to upgrade TV to SmartTV. We ended up not watching anything in the tv since we could not stream our movie and tennis to the TV. We were extremely disappointed with the breakfast. Despite variety of food, the taste was not great. The food seems bland although the desserts were good. But main course and others were not tasty. I expected more from Santika after having to stay in other Santika in many places and many years. The gym was also disappointing, very small and didnt allow good exercise, I decided not to use it at all and happy it has decent swimming pool instead. Santika could also use more greenery in the area around swimming pool, lobby and parking area. It will make the look more pleasant.

We were party of 3, my husband and my 24 yo son staying in Deluxe King Room with extra bed. We like that the room is spacious and it has the amenities we expected. The room has the balcony which we could open to let the fresh air runs. I liked it that it has decent swimming pool which I used it every day during our 3 days/2 nights there. The bed was comfortable, water pressure and water heater were fine, overall we had nice stay in the hotel. Hotel also located in the city center, allowed us to travel to some restaurants and shopping place. The staffs were also extremely helpful and friendly.

The area around the hotel is not good for walking. Sidewalks are broken and hard to walk in the evening.

The hotel is very good with good service. The breakfast is very good with lots of options.

Only rain shower, would have been helpful to have a flexible shower hose. A/C was not that cool.

The room was nice, with a fantastic view of Gunung Ijen in the early morning. The swimming pool was very good. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was good.

Breakfast was little limited with less options and many items were sold out meaning empty plates. Some times like pasties were gone quickly and not refilled. We tried the room service and it was good. .

Location and rooms were great. Recently renovated and well presented. As a young family it was good the restaurant was next to the pool so kids could play while others ate. Hotel has supplied a few water toys and a play area so this was also appreciated

I need to find a room where the Windows can be closed complete. Some rooms has wrong working windows ans the noise from outside - also if they start their pray - is to loud. After showing me 5 rooms I found one with good working windows.

The wifi didn't work. The shower was broken. The steak was no real steak. Basically a,scam. There was no alcohol, only beer. After I ordered 2 beers they run out of beer. Ridiculous
