In the evenings it was in a very quiet location which as a solo traveller it was nice but doesn’t offer chance to socialise easily, especially in a private room. Although great for a couple of nights of down time! Its about 25 min drive from the main harbour to taxi service was an added cost.

Comfortable bed and clean, great place to rest and have own space as a solo traveller needing a break from hostels. It was very affordable being as cheap as a hostel dorm. Breakfast was delicious and delivered on time each morning. It was easy to book tours on the island and Agus personally took me to a snorkelling trip and picked me up on his bike for a good price. It was also close to Sampalan beach which was so quiet I had the beach to myself! A nice contrast to the main tourist areas on the island.

Be aware this accommodation is quite far from the beaches and main attractions such as dive sites, tourist beaches and viewpoints. Taxis are really expensive and the only other option is moped, however we heard that the roads are really poor. We booked a full day tour with snorkeling in the morning and then the beaches in the afternoon, from morning until after watching the sunset for 600,000, however they changed it on the day to be finished by 4pm, which after an hour of driving to the beach (and back) would have only left 1 hour at the beach . Just something to be aware of before booking. Also be aware of booking the manta snorkel tour through the accommodation as the one we went on was extremely overcrowded, maybe look at reviews of different operators before booking this .

The bed was soooo comfortable and the room was super clean and spacious, with a semi-outdoor bathroom which we liked. The accommodation is very good value for money and there are lots of restaurants and cafes within a short walking distance. Staff were helpful with booking taxis and tours.

The room got really hot even with A/C. The shower also wasn't the best but perfectly ok. It's quite far from a lot of main attractions (30-40 mins on motorbike). The drive around is beautiful but not easy for inexperienced drivers as the roads are steep and bumpy at times. It would hard to drive back in the dark too due to lack of lights on the road. So the hotel is lovely but just be mindful about the location if you're new to driving a motorbike.

The room was clean and comfortable. The TVs also have netflix which is a nice bonus. We rented a motorbike from here too. Lots of nice restaurants and cafes nearby. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The location was not ideal, not near any of the main beaches or tourist arenas and just off the side of a main road, lots of noise around the complex e.g hens, dogs etc (this not the fault of the complex of course) not any hot water in the shower.

Cute and Cosy little apartments for a few nights stay. Comfy bed and breakfast was also nice bought straight to out balconies to sit and enjoy. Friendly staff who helped us with renting scooters and laundry on site.

Bathroom smelt quite a bit and had some issues with some of the plug sockets not working.

the room and bathroom could have been cleaner, the outdoor bathroom wasn’t very nice. The shower was more like a drizzle. The staff were not around, apart from when they tried to push trips and taxis on you. Very noisy due to lots of chickens in surrounding area. also did not feel the safest.

We had made the reservation because as per the map of booking the accommodation appeared close to the harbours, so that we could walk. When we were there the accommodation was 2.5 km away from the location shown in booking. This should be changed or known before making the reservation or checked against Google maps.

The man that owns the place was rude and cold. He doesn't even say "hello" to you even when he's picking you up as the taxi driver, and it feels that he only talks to you to get your money.

i do not recommend the fruit platter for breakfast, but the pancake is really good 😊 It is not easy to get there from the harbour. Taxi from the big harbour costs 200k. The Scooter we rented there was working but was not the best 😄 I would recommend to get a scooter with more power because the streets are steep sometimes.

You get a lot for the money you pay. Very clean rooms, and great shower! Small complex but very cosy. Relaxed atmosphere and the owners are great people. Great place to eat close to the property is cocoleaf!
