We loved the location, the vibe of the place, the cats and the kindness of the staff. Unfortunately the rooms and especially the bathrooms were very dirty.

It's location is the heart of Gili T. I worried about noise night time, but it's OK.

Nothing- just remember that your first impression of this property may have you thinking it’s not as good as it is from the bar at the front. The villas are at the back, walk through before you shut yourself from a great bargain.

I cannot say enough how wonderfully I was treated during my stay here. Every time I walked near the staff they were extremely kind and welcoming. As a solo female traveller, it’s often hard to judge if where you are staying will be ‘safe’. I felt very safe here. So even when you first turn up and see the bar and the terrible names of the villas, don’t let this distract you from the easy to access location, beautiful caring staff, clean facilities and cheap tasty food.

We love nature, but we’re unlucky with timing ( rain and amphibians mating season ), we had to leave as simply could not sleep over the noise of the frogs all night long.

Things I missed: -a small refrigerator in the room -a desk and a chair for work -shower curtain was missing

Sama Sama Bunglows is located in a garden behind a reggae bar. And very near the ferry terminal. But the accomodation is suprisingly calm and quiet. Yes, you walk in through the reggae bar and there is live music every night so I ended up almost always stopping for a night cap before going home. Also almost right next to Dive center I was using. Bungalow "Is it love" was nice and spacious. I mean it was a big room. I had more then enough space for one. :) Terace was nice although the other rooms are further in the back so the other guests walk by this bungalow. But it was anyways so hot, that I didn't really spend much time on the terrace. Terrace, entrance and bathroom on first floor, bedroom in the second floor. Bed was wide and good quality. I had a very good night's sleep. AC was working great. The bungalow has seen a lot of life but was still comfortable. Shower has good water pressure and hot water always available. Bathroom was tiled and clean. Toilet with bidee shower. Swimming Pool is very nice and the rooms have very quick access to it. Pool has steps on the other end and a shallow and a deep end. Also steps on the side if you want to sit in the water. I'd say it is good also for families with young children. The personnel was friendly and helpfull. I recommend Sama Sama Bungalows for stay short or long term.

Accommodation is clean, but could need a fresh up. I did not bother a lot, others might do so: only cold water, wifi didn't work properly, from time to time power off.

Location next to the port and main street, funky bar in the evening, pool. As others mentioned, even if the place has a bar in front, it is amazingly quiet in the backyard.

Great location. They provided good info about where to find things and arranged bicycle rental. Really enjoyed the pool. Close to everything. Great entertainment at night at the bar in front. Noise did not travel to the rooms. So nice and quiet at the back. Breakfast on the beach was delightful

The room was clean, reasonable price, location near to night market, port/harbour gili trawangan, still quiet even if location is behind of the sama sama bar.

Cleanliness was not perfect but I think you are going to the wrong island if that is the top of your priority list.

Fantastically placed little hotel right in the heart of Gili T's strip with lots of bars near by and of course the fantastic Sama Sama reggae bar on the door step. The sea is a stone's literally outside but better snorkelling/sea activities can be found a few minutes further up. The bungalows were large, comfortable and spacious. Perfect location to be based for anyone wanting to experience Gili T.

Weak Wifi and the fact that one room was not available though booked well in advance by us. Thankfully the staff gave us a solution but we would have liked what we requested nonetheless.

Infrequent room cleaning. There is noise at night from the adjoining bar, but didn’t bother me.

Owner very nice and helpful, gave us a lot of tips for enjoying the island with good price (snorkeling, rental bike, transfer to Lombok, etc...). The private room are ok, comfortable bed, strong A/C and clean. Amazing location, close to the port, the restanrants and the best bars/clubs. For the price (around 30€/night), it's a very good quality/price
